We had booked 3 nights during December, as a family of 4 to find dorm room style accommodation, with each bedroom with its own lock. Not the luxury family villa that was advertised. The whole 'villa' consisted of these rooms off a hallway and an open kitchen and living area. Upon entering the front door, to the left (open, not...

It is really good motel with backpacker style, with shared bathroom and toilet. Beautiful room, very clean bathrooms and toilets, awesome and spacious dining room and kitchen with stove, microwave, kettle and big fridge, barbecue and spa pool at the yard, free Wi-Fi, very quiet at night, parking inside of property, and all at very affordable rates. The Manager/Owner, Amber...

After hours of searching places to stay and being let down by one place in Springfield we came across Springfield Motel and Lodge, wasn't expecting much but when we arrived the place exceeded any expectations. The shared kitchen decor was amazing and had plenty of essentials for everyone to use in the cupboard. The owner was a lovely woman who...

We stayed in the front unit for a night. My wife and I were exhausted after spending the day hiking and driving from Mount Aoraki and needed a quiet place to recharge. We found it. The owner was friendly and accommodation with our last minute late afternoon panic laundry request. The unit was very clean, warm and fully equipped. We...

Springfield is a tiny town about 70ks from Christchurch heading due west. It is the last town before you head to Arthur's Pass. The motel is adequate. Amber was very welcoming. The room that I had was not large but satisfactory, spotlessly clean with a newly remodelled bathroom. I had flown into Christchurch, picked up the rental car and was...

Stopped off here as a halfway point between Arthur's Pass and Christchurch. It's a small town with not many options for meals. The room was more like a self contained apartment than a motel room though - it was clean, comfortable and a great size with full kitchen. It was snowing in the mountains when we were there so we...

We had only one night here and arrived around 8pm. Love that the reception shut at 9pm. Staff was warm welcome and offer us dvd movies. The Room we booked is bunk bed, quite small but warm and fair enough for the rate. Share bathroom, toilet, kitchen and living room are great! New, modern, clean and tidy. Highly recommended! :)
