I was fortunate to stay with Laura & Jon in the last week in November & found that the studios were very well run & extremely handy to all locations especially the northern beaches, Skyrail & the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park which i was honoured to work at during my time in Cairns. Though i must say for me the...

We stayed in the upstairs studio for 11 days at the end of October. This really was a great find, good value, very clean and comfortable and excellent location for days trips out to beaches, rainforest, tablelands and other attractions nearby (Karunda Train and Skyrail and Cultural centre). You do need a car which is easy to organise from UK...

My husband and I stayed in the upstairs studio in Oct 2011. We loved our time there, and was the best thing we did in North Queensland. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, and great value for money, especially because it is self-contained. The bathroom (with spa bath) and deck in particular were our favourites. The location is fantastic...

We stayed with Jon & Laura in April and had a ball. We had the ground floor studio and found it extremely comfortable and well appointed. The verandah is ideal for breakfast with the birds and happy hour in the lush surrounds is just something else. Traveling time to Cairns city centre is only 20 mins but everything we needed...

The Cairns Rainforest Studios is well appointed upstairs downstairs wooden tree top type of accommodation, attached to a private residence. The location is a good 30 mins out of central Cairns and very close to the Kuranda Sky Rail. We had the upstairs spa suite which was very well appointed, clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the surrounding tree...

My wife and I stayed a short five nights at the Studios and were thoroughly happy with our experience. We felt that the location was ideal and that the studio was a great value for the money. It was clean, very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Particularly convenient was the kitchenette that allowed us to prepare meals to enjoy on the...

We were met on arrival by Laura and Jon who were really friendly and showed us how to work everything and advised us on places to visit. Our room was on the first floor - surrounded by a lovely garden with proper rainforest trees. It was lovely to go to sleep and wake up in the morning hearing the sounds...

We're so glad you found us . Since we have been listed as a Kamerunga accommodation , we haven't been getting any enquiries because visitors don't realise that Kamerunga is in Cairns and even has a Cairns post code . Thanks very much for your kind review !

This is a great location a few miles outside the city center at the edge of the rainforest. It's in a peaceful residential area but you really do need a car unless all you want to do is to stay home or take walks in the nearby National Park. Downtown Cairns is about a twenty five minute drive away. There...

STONEY CREEK STUDIOS in Kamerunga is by far one of the best places to stay in Far North Queensland. Nestled away in a rainforest valley only 20 minutes from Cairns CBD, it offered us everything a traveller could wish for... and then some. We enjoyed Laura and Jon's hospitality so much that we ended up staying for two months, while...
