Went here whilst staying at the Caravan Club site at Chatsworth. Walking route was off road all the way, but due to the excessive rain over recent days the grass paths were sodden, by the time we got there (1 hour) me and the dog were rather muddy, hubby managed to have no mud on him - go figure! Anyhow...

Just got back from an overnight stay...what a lovely place....warm, inviting, homely.... but with a twist! The Brasserie is totally unexpected, and our delightful room, IRIS, in one of the cottages was gorgeous! Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times.Fabulous location on the Chatsworth Estate with so many things to see and...

We stayed in Devonshire Arms in Beeley for 2 nights recently. The accomodation is nice and very clean. Bathrooms and services in rooms could do with an upgrade. Our room only had a stand alone bath rather than a shower which is unsatisfactory. Breakfast was superb on both days. The lady who runs the service is very pleasant and helpful....

The Devonshire Arms is an old inn with tastefully furnished and modernised interiors. We were in one of several rooms in Dove cottage. -- Very convenient for visiting Chatsworth. -- Room had quirky wardrobe resembling Turkish tent. Comfortable bed. Bit short of shelves & could hear upstairs guests clumping around. -- Nice bathroom. -- Dinners could be had at the...

Booked a table for Sunday Lunch as my brother was up from London and we wanted to treat ourselves (joint birthday!). We were warmly welcomed and shown straight to our table near (ish) the open fire which was lovely. We both chose the Roast Chatsworth Estate Beef which was DELICIOUS! The gravy or Jus if you fancy was rich and...

we stayed for 2 nights in January in the main building. I had eaten many times in this hotel and was so excited to be staying there after our wedding. Our room had many lovely touches (lovely bath robes & great hospitality tray) but I found it tatty and poorly maintained. Some bathroom floor tiles were badly cracked and continued...

We stayed here for a night for a special occasion and were delighted with what we encountered - a warm welcome, a lovely room, and a superb meal. The overnight accommodation was lovely and the room very well supplied, including a box of biscuits, sweets, good coffee and fresh milk. The meal was excellent, an interesting menu and beautifully served....

We were treated to this night away meal package by one of our children. We have often called in for a post walk pint of their top class ale and wished we could have a half pint more 😉 This visit exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room comfortable and superbly equipped with lovely touches of luxury,...

Bought my sister in law here for Sunday lunch when she was over from Florida, the open fire was very much appreciated. Food was very good and the menu was very varied. Portions were a very good size and fortunately we had shared the accompaniments otherwise we would not have room for pud!
