Our second stay at the Devonshire Arms Beeley was just a welcoming as the first. First and foremost it is a pub with great food. They serve local ales which are fresh and flavoursome. The food is of high quality either in the pub or in the newer restaurant area where a full breakfast is served. The rooms are well...

What can I say, outstanding, arrived an hour early and they seated us without an issue, food and drink fantastic and the staff great. We will return for certain. Love the idea of swapping local produce for beer tokens - makes you want to grow more and enjoy the returns !!!

What a lovely break. The room was spacious and warm, with the sound of the river outside. We stayed in the monsel room, comfy bed , snuggly robes and temple spa toiletries. The staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was a treat, the beeley breakfast looked and tasted great .. says my husband I had salmon and xxx scrambled eggs,...

I recently stayed at the Devonshire Arms with my son and a friend. We stayed in one of the large Brookside rooms which are separate from the pub itself. The room was extremely comfortable with a large bed and plenty of room for an additional single. The bathroom was lovely. The pub itself is beautiful with wonderful staff and food...

Stayed for 2 nights 19 and 20 November. Room was in cottage in the grounds - we had taken an offer - although the room was nice we have stayed in similar establishments for the same price and had more impressive accommodation so the price was on the high side. However the location is superb. The staff were largely young...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed on the Devonshire Estate but the first time here. We had a fantastic stay. When we were shown to the room, it completely lived up to expectations. The previous two nights we had stayed in. 5* hotel in central Manchester and the was so much better. Nice little extra touches and attention...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in such a nice luxurious & picturesque hotel. Lots of little touches such as pots of sweeties & books to read, if as had, forgotten my reading matter, in the room. Luxury toiletries & good quality tea etc. The staff are so friendly & amenable nothing is too much trouble, even moving tables around to...

We stayed here for 2 nights, our first visit to the Derbyshire Dales/Peak district. We stayed in Celandine, quirky 1 bed accomodation in the top floor of a cottage. Disappointingly, photos of the individual rooms aren't featured on the website, but I was sent descriptions of each by the reservation team. (Would be great to see specific rooms on the...

The Exterior of the Devonshire Arms pub and hotel, the quaint village of Beeley and Dove Cottage present a post-card representation of life in a small estate village. The hotel and much of the village are actually owned by the Chatsworth Estate, and you can determine if a building is part of the estate by looking for the wonderful shade...
