This is a great little campground. I was able to book last min due to the poor weather for a long weekend. It was quite, I was on the 36 loop. The sites on that loop are a bit close together but there were many empty ones so it wasn't so bad. Lots of wildlife in the area. We had... More

We stayed at the 3-1 for two nights in the fully equipped campsite during our trip in the Rocky mountain. Here is what we got for our equipped campsite: MEC tent + tenting tarp, 1 propane gas, 1 gas stove (can put 2 pots on), campfire with unlimited logs, lantern, 6 air matresses, a locker, and a pcinic bench (NO... I had a wonderful experience one night camping here. I was there on time 2 pm and my spot was ready. Check in was fast. Found the spot so easy. It was 10d and beautiful pot. Not far from washroom But fully surrounded buy trees. Some woods was already there so i don>t had to get it . It was... More

This is a terrible campground. My husband and I camped throughout BC and Alberta for 2 weeks. This was by far the worst site we have stayed at and the most expensive. It's basically a money grab: No Showers: They tell you to shower in the hot springs, which is quite a car distance away and essentially a community pool... More

Bear at entrance. No showers and bathrooms were filthy. Internet service was poor. Pretty among the pines but campsite was small and our neighbors were right next to us. No privacy. Did I mention wolves. Next morning we noticed all the bear claw marks on the trees in the area. If you are into wilderness, this place is for you.

Great size tents (six person), all clean and new. Staff were great and even came around to show off Elk antlers to my boys. Had a fire and smores so great location and nice and quiet. Lake Minewanka is a short hike away and so is Two Jack lake. I would recommend this for families and make sure to camp... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife in July.We found the equipment supplied to of very high standard and the staff were very friendly and informative. The campsite is very quiet at night as the 11pm curfew is very effectively self policed ( we heard people at a neighbouring site being asked to keep it down by fellow campers). The highlight though... The Banff town site is only about 10min up the road and in my opinion Two Jack is a far superior campground to the tunnel mountain campgrounds closer to town. Two Jack is right in the woods and access to Two Jack lake is just 2min away. The lake was surprisingly awesome. The only downside to this campground is there... More

Two Jack Lakeside was filled up, so we stayed here. Glad that we did! We had neighbors but not nearly as many as Lakeside would have had. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every second of it. Close to Banff town center, and close to Lake Minnewanka. Very nice staff, and clean bathrooms. Every morning the bathrooms were cleaned. We... More

My husband and I stayed here as a change to a more rustic campground we usually go to. We made the mistake of not telling the staff that we had a large tent. It was a challenge to fit our tent on the site we were assigned. It is true that there isn't much privacy at this campground. It was... More

“This campground is huge! We asked for one that was further away because we had a dog with us and she's calmer when it's less busy. He gave us what we wanted which we were happy with. Though we didn't know how far in it went. So for those who want to utilize the lake, ask for a spot closer to the entrance.”
