Tucked away in a quiet lane which leads into the forest. We have a king-sized downstairs double with private shower room. Upstairs is a zip and link twin room with private bath and shower room. The annex is above the garage and has it's own entrance, shower room and stairs to a very large room with double bed and sofa bed. All rooms have flat screen TV, tea / coffee facilities. Our breakfasts include freshly prepared fruit, home-made muesli using as many local ingredients as possible. Our mature garden is available for our guests to enjoy a quiet relax after a day sightseeing as is our heated swimming pool during the summer months. The village with several eateries and railway station are just an 8 minute walk from the house. A very warm welcome awaits you at Ashen Bank.

I can't praise this too highly. It is a beautiful setting , a few yards from the forest and has a lovely garden. Our room was very nice, comfy bed, well lit mirrors and our private bathroom was next to our room (but not en-suite). The breakfasts were excellent, with home grown tomatoes and eggs from the owners' chickens. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Fantastic value, too.

We booked the annex room as a base for a weekend visiting family and it was just perfect for our needs. Scrupulously clean, and a lovely light airy space. For us it was a big plus having the fridge/kettle/toaster/microwave etc as it meant we could sort out ourselves after a late-ish arrival and for breakfasts. In covid times the fully separate entrance was also great. And an amazing shower which is always a big tick! Thank you Deborah!

We stayed just overnight in the annexe above the garage as we were going to a party locally. Although our stay was short, Ashen Bank was perfect in every way - great location (quiet), all the facilities we could wish for, lovely clean & comfortable annexe, delicious continental breakfast and Deborah was on hand if you needed her - thank you, just wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed at Ashen Bank Saturday to Tuesday. Deborah and Richard are the most accommodating hosts I have ever met. We stayed in the Annex above the garage which has its own entrance and a microwave kettle fridge and toaster are provided. Lounge come Bedroom is very spacious and the bathroom with shower is downstairs.. At the end of the drive turning right is a short walk (500yards) are the gates into the New Forest. Absolutely stunning. The Silver Hind in the village (about 1/2 mile) is a great pub serving delicious food, good wine and beers. We will definitely go back to this fantastic B&B and can’t thank Deborah and Richard enough for making our stay so perfect.

Just back from a very enjoyable two night stay in the annexe. The apartment was fully self contained being very well equipped, comfortable, quiet and well located. Faultless - look forward to revisiting. Thanks Deborah.

A very friendly welcome and stay. A well appointed room in a lovely house and garden. All beautifully laid out room with all the extras that make a stay so comfortable and welcoming. Deborah was very helpful in recommending a local pub for a meal and breakfast was very nice indeed. Thank you for a restful and relaxing stay.

The accommodation at Ashen Bank is either a bedroom with private bathroom in the house or the annexe above the garage. We chose the bedroom in the house which was beautifully decorated and included tea/coffee making facilities. Their breakfast was delicious. Deborah and Richard are the most wonderful hosts providing maps and information about the local area and helping us with our plans for our stay including dinner options. Their garden is immaculate but the weather was a bit chilly to use their beautiful pool. We will certainly come back and stay a bit longer next time.

Booked a week before arrival and fortunately the owners do not expect payment before arrival. It was only a 1 night stay and wish would have stayed longer. Was given the annex, which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Had use of the swimming pool for an hour, early evening which we enjoyed after our 2 hour drive from Kent. Also enjoyed seeing the chickens and the lovely garden. The breakfast was generous with great variety. The host Deborah also gave us plenty of advice and ideas for places to visit in the New Forest and the coast, which we enjoyed visiting. Would definitely return.

We spend a weekend here every June. Best B&B you will ever find. Spacious room over the detached garage, excellent shower room, perfect breakfast with fresh eggs from the hens, lovely garden and pool, and hosts who put everyone at ease and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect.
