Great location on Banff avenue for a good price. The bus stop is just outside which will take you to all the attractions. The wifi is good. The room wasn't warm enough. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again when I'm in town.

Incredibly impressed with the King Edward. After reading the reviews, I was a little skeptical, but couldn't go past the price. You will not find a cheaper hotel in a better location. Beds were extremely comfortable & the linen was beautiful. Rooms were small, but when you're in a town like Banff, you don't spend much time in your room...

Yes the rooms are small but for the price you pay and the location in downtown it is second to none for value for money especially when travelling with others. The internet is a little hit and miss but aside from this I would very strongly recommend staying here.

We chose to stay overnight at the last minute during a day trip to Banff last October, so we could wake up early the next morning and do the gondola trip up the mountain. The KEH was convenient, had underground parking and was reasonable in price, but the rooms had (IMO) too much furniture, leading to the sideways shuffle around...

I stayed here with my partner in a queen room in mid- late October and we were very impressed. When we checked in the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and knew of their surroundings! The rooms were nice and clean and had just everything that we required, and if we happened to need anything extra the front...

Stayed here for two nights and used it as a base to see the site in and around Banff. Just a basic room. There are no services here, just housekeeping. The room was small, but very well kept. Only two floors of rooms, second and third floor. The lobby was very small too, but it does save on congestion as...

Banff is a beautiful town but outrageously expensive. Hotels are all overpriced but this historic one is reasonable if your are looking for somewhere to stay overnight only - it has no services. The room is small but clean and comfortable. Stayed here almost 35 years ago on a ski trip and not much has changed. The Banff Avenue downtown...

Stayed here one night, moved for the second. It was a very small room, with a tiny window, very dark. No services with the hotel, ie no restaurant, breakfast or bar and the reception is only open quite limitied hours. No parking at the hotel, so you have to ferry from the limited free parking building a couple of blocks...

We stayed there for one night while we had initially intended for two. Our room was dark and depressing - dark floors, curtains and walls. We had booked a room for 4 and two of us slept on the most lumpy pull out couch imaginable. I got up at 5 am and headed to the streets of Banff just to...

It's a relatively inexpensive bed in a very expensive town. We pricelined a king room in August for $150/night. The location is right on the main drag - that's either good or bad depending on what you're looking for. Me personally would rather be a bit removed. We were awoken several times throughout the night by bottles crashing into a...
