A perfect getaway located at the foot of Tunnel Mountain in Banff, 5 minutes walk from downtown Banff, the Bow river and the Banff Centre. The 2 bedroom suite is the ideal private retreat after a full day of sightseeing, hiking, or skiing, or it can be your quiet hideaway where you can relax, and have some down time. The suite has it`s own private entrance so that you are provided with complete privacy. The suite is yours to use throughout the day. We meet you on arrival and show you the accommodation and, as we just live upstairs, we are available if you have any questions, or need anything. We try and touch base with you daily, as you come and go, to ensure that you have everything that you need. To comply with the bed and breakfast license some breakfast supplies will be provided, so that you can make your own continental breakfast. The suite is self contained with it`s own private entrance so that you are have complete privacy. It has a cozy sitting area which has cable TV and Netflix (on a 40 inch LCD screen) and WiFi. There is a dining area, kitchenette with bar fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster (There is no stove) and the usual drink making facilities. So you can make yourselves at home and enjoy a night in with a glass of wine and a ready meal. Each of the light and airy bedrooms has a queen size bed, a closet and an ensuite bathroom with shower. There is private off street parking for guests. The property is not suitable for children, so we can`t accept bookings with children under 16.

Wonderful weekend get away to Richard’s cozy, fresh, modern, clean, and wonderfully stocked up Banff Bear BNB. The unit is fantastic for two couples. There are two separate rooms, each with their own bathroom which is perfect to maintain your own personal hygienic bubble whilst staying at this beautiful home. The location was great, only few minutes walk into town. The unit as well had near by off street parking which was convenient as well! Would highly recommend this place to any travelling couples or parents wanting a separate room to their children. Thanks again for the pleasant stay and making us feel at home and accommodating our late check in request. Would love to come back soon! Cheers -Derek

We stayed here for three nights on our road trip. It was perfect. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The suite was spotlessly clean and comfortable. With the covid precautions it was great to be able to stay in basically our own apartment. We only needed one bedroom really but it is a two bedroom self contained suite. We didn't want to spend too much time in bars etc and there is no stove in the kitchenette (though there is a microwave etc) so we opted for food from the restaurants to be delivered by the ToGo company, so that we only went down town to eat one night. The ski hills had just opened so we spent the days skiing and the evenings chilling out watching netflix in our own living room. On the subject of skiing it was great to have the boot warmers to dry the cold boots out. It was the perfect end to our road trip and we would stay here again when we go back to Banff.…

We stayed here for five days and during this time, we felt well looked after. It is very close to the centre of town and were able to walk to and from the b & b. The place was warm, comfortable and clean ! Really enjoyed our stay and could not fault anything! Outstanding !

We had a wonderful stay, no negatives. The hosts met us and helped us with lots of information and tips about what to do and when it was best to do it. It was great to have basically our own lovely apartment in a beautiful location. The continental breakfast supplies were perfect. We would all recommend it to any of our friends and will definitely stay there again.

I can’t say enough about Richard and Allison! My friends and I were truly sad to leave! Their home is absolute perfection. Beautifully clean and well kept. They were consummate hosts and gave us a thorough introduction and detailed tips about Banff. Some of their special suggestions saved us!! Their place is barely a 5 minute walk to the main street in the adorable downtown area. They even checked in on us the second night to see how we were getting on. I absolutely recommend the Banff Bear Bed and Breakfast! 10/10!!

Banff Bear B&B is an ideal home away from home. Richard and Alison are generous hosts, and provide a tasteful, clean and spacious apartment with a cozy sitting room and two bedrooms with queen size beds and ensuites...perfect for two couples. A generous and delicious breakfast, such as granola, fresh fruit, muffins, yoghurt etc is provided for you to help yourself. We particularly liked the fact that we could have breakfast in our own apartment when we wanted to, and could linger over another cup of tea if we wished. The location is great too, being a short walk to the main shopping and restaurant streets.
