First visit for me ... My wife has been and raved all about it. Parking on the side of the road did nothing for me in a massive puddle.Positives the local bus comes right to the campground bring a tooney for each way (cheap) did I mention it goes to the springs. Don't send the kids alone unless they are...

Me and my 3 friends stayed here for 2 nights. Banff itself is beautiful and this campground is in a really good area (5 minute drive) from downtown Banff. We found it pretty cheap for our stay with the basic essentials like shower room and storage room, all clean and tidy. There is an Eleven o'clock curfew for like fire...

We stayed here with a small RV for one night before setting off to Lake Louise. A good site, lots of space and excellent shower/toilet facilities in heated buildings! All very clean. Quite rightly all the Parks Canada sites are strict about leaving out food or anything to attract bears, and that means that camp sites are kept neat and...

This may just be my favourite Campground! Beautiful surroundings, nice sites, great facilities like dishwashing sinks, bathrooms and free showers as well as free firewood included with the fire permits. Can't have campfires after 11:00pm though which seems odd to me.

Love this campground. Lots to do and the bus even comes to the campground. The ride to downtown is free!! Love that the staff are on top of reminding people about leaving food out. Just wished those that have reservations did not have to wait in the same line as those that do not. Long wait.

Summer time and it was hard to book the campground here especially they closed the Tunnel Mountain Campground II. We were lucky to get 3 nights here at J site at the tunnel mountain campground I. We were at J 56 which is closer to all amenities. Pretty nice shade and good privacy. The only thing in this site is...

When I go camping I don't really expect much from a campground facility. Mostly just a place to set up my tent, a picnic table and an outhouse. I was so impressed by tunnel mountain. They had amazingly clean washrooms with free showers and flush toilets. They also had firewood that could be used while on site. I also liked...

I am staying at Tunnel Mountain Village 1 with a broken leg. I went to go get firewood but there is a chain preventing me from backing all the way up to the pile of wood. I asked the staff who were busy socializing with the people registering while there was a line up waiting to get in to open...

All sites are very large and very clean. The sites must be clean due to wondering bears and wolves that can come in. I stayed in C23. There are food storage lockers available for use. If you have a fire permit there is unlimited firewood for your taking. Take as much as you need. It's free with your permit. Washrooms...
