Rooms are a bit dated and there is no a/c. But the included breakfast is great and the location is fabulous. Great to be at a hotel within walking distance of downtown that also had parking. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we were returning to Banff.

The night staff guy was excellent, super helpful and so nice, always had a smile on his face. July 29 th - August 1 st. Had a meatball appie....omg...so delicious. Breakfast was ok, one of the ladies in the restaurant staff was a bit rude...grabbed tongs right out of my hand. But other than that, love this place, but will only return in the cooler months....it was way too hot!!

So disappointed that there was no A/C!!! It was so hot, we had a small fan and a small window so it was terrible. The rooms were nice but there was not very good lighting either! The staff was very nice, but there is no housekeeping service. The halls are so narrow and a maze.

The good points of this hotel is Location, location, location. They provide a breakfast each morning which had many options. This is always nice to start a day. They also offer free bus passes which comes in very handy if you dont want to take the car out. The front end staff were very helpful answering questions. The not so good points of this hotel are: NO Air Conditioning. I happened to read a trip advisor comment after I booked and fortunately I brought a couple of my own fans from home to help with the situation, in addition to the one that was provided by the hotel. Granted I stayed during a "heat wave" of 28C weather for three days. In future I will look for a hotel that has A/C during the summer months and use this hotel during winter months. Housekeeping was not available but when I requested more towels and glasses they were quick to respond to my request.
