We booked a kitchenette suite for 5 nights. Main room has a big noisy fan heater. Kitchen has nothing and the second bedroom has no heating either. It's -15 !!!! We head to reception to ask why the lack of heat and they are surprised we are complaining. We are offered a fan to 'move' the air to the other...

If you are looking for a cramped dirty loft with a barely lit gas fireplace ( on a 20 min timer), stinky carpet and a lumpy old dirty couch for your next romantic get away then this is the place for you. I choose this place over a few others because of the fireplace. Never again. The fireplace is set...

The Charlton cedar court is an older, motel style building, which has been around for some time. The rooms seem to have received limited updating over that time. further, the location of the ceiling fan in the loft rooms tends to result in the sleeping area becoming quite hot while the lower area is frigid. Complementary breakfast consists of hardboiled...

If you are looking for a high end, modern hotel - this is not really it. But if you are flexible with that aspect you will be happy with this hotel. We got a last minute deal w/ Priceline and were given a deluxe room when we arrived. The room was spotless and the breakfast area was spotless. The staff...

Room was very nice and different from anything we have stayed in. Very comfortable! Bed was huge! It was really hot the first night in the room b/c we had turned up the heat too much but the second night was a much better sleep once we tweaked our heater and ceiling fan. The continental breakfast was nothing special. Didn't...

Free parking was the biggest perk in this busy resort town! A parking spot is always a search. We have stayed at the Caribou next door several times, but our kids wanted a pool to play in. It was COLD! The kids had the place to themselves and enjoyed the pool area but said it was disappointing. The room was...

This was a nice property in a spectacular and expensive town. We had the family room which was not huge but suited our needs. This property had free parking and a continental breakfast which was good, but note it is not like a Hampton Inn breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, we used the pool and hot tub which...

Had a great loft room with a fireplace. It was comfortable and clean and the front desk girls were great! We did not venture into the pool or the sauna, so can't really say much other than they looked nice. The complimentary breakfast is a leaves a bit to be desired...

Good location - nice welcome - clean room We would really appreciate if the air conditioning units (mainly outdoor noise) would be more silent. Otherwise the stay we pleasant, although weather so so... and the Rockies are really impressive. A lot of nice walks all around - easy walking and more difficult for those who like it!

We visited Charlton again on a snowy cold evening this month. Our first visit was 33 years ago and we have been back 4-5 more times. The loft suite is not the best idea in the cold (having to venture to the outdoor stairs to reach your rooom) but nice in summer. Being cold when we arrived we tried the...
