Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Good buffet breakfasts with fresh fruit, yogurts, warm croissant etc. Rooms very small and even smaller shower facilities. Tired decor in need of revamp. Convenient for town and amenities.

Many of the other 1 star reviews have described accurately the services and conditions in this lodge. I will add a few other observations/opinions: 1. Historic locations can be well maintained and constructed, but this is merely a makeshift patchwork. Laminate flooring, windows held up by sticks, and doors that cover electric switches for example. 2. It is a FIRE...

We arrived in Banff around 5 and went straight to our B&B before doing some sight-seeing. The accommodations were acceptable but the quarter were very cramped. We were in Unit #10 which had a single and a double bed, tv, sink and the bathroom had room for a toilet and tiny shower. I had read the reviews but did not...

This historic property is on a quiet corner about equidistant from Banff Avenue where most of the restaurants, bars and retail shops are located and the pedestrian bridge over the Bow River at the foot Muskrat Street so it is a short walk to many attractions around the town including the Bow River Falls. The breakfasts are more generous than...

I was traveling alone to attend a conference at the Banff Centre The Blue Mountain Lodge was walkable to the conference, it was close to the center of Banff and very accessible to sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful to get me oriented and to recommend local sights. The room was clean and perfect for my needs. At...

We stayed at the Blue Mountain Lodge for 4 nights and truly enjoyed the experience! When you walk in the front door you feel like you're stepping into a good friend's rustic summer home. It's cozy, homey and smells like freshly baked cookies! The rooms have themed decor - we stayed in the Beaver room which featured a decorative log...

My husband and I stayed for 1 night and we really enjoyed the place. The room was cozy, a bit small but perfect for a short stay (In Banff, you mainly want to be outdoor anyways!) Very homey and friendly service! Pascal, the owner, was happy to share tips and ideas for touring the area. We really felt the passion...

My wife and I stayed for an evening as a stop over on our way through Banff. It is a very charming, old style B&B. Room was small but very clean and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good. Really enjoyed the freshly baked croissants! A special shout out to Mateja who found about my wife's diamond...

I can't rate this place highly enough! It really offered that home away from home feel, with cosy rooms and lovely social areas. We loved the B&B set up, but with access to a Kitchenette so we could cook our owns meals (if desired) after days out in the mountains. The staff really make it. So friendly, so helpful, and...
