Terrible hotel. The one black spot on a wonderful trip to Canada. It is in line to be demolished, and the sooner the better! It was really hot when we arrived, and having just one fan was no where near enough. We had it on twenty four seven. Cosmos who arranged said holiday, should knock this one on the head...

I stayed here for a weekend and I had a great time. I'm not sure what other travellers do but when I'm in a gorgeous place like banff I'm out and about. There's no elevator but it's only three stories, so if you don't have a problem climbing a few stairs you will be just fine. But I did find...

Having just checked in I am tempted to check straight back out. The whole hotel is shabby & in need of a refit, the carpets are threadbare, there is no air con & with both windows open all you get is noise and fumes from the street. Do not waste your money staying here, it is outrageously expensive & there...

When we arrived with our tour our hearts sank, because the stair carpet looked as if it needed a good clean. The bedrooms were fine but the walls and floors were thin. As a result we had a sleepless night. All we could hear were noises from above for hours. Where was the night watchman? At five in the morning...

My friends and I stayed here recently for just a night. Dated hotel, NO AIRCONDITION and poor cleanliness. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Needs a lot of work and upgrading. Too pricey for what we got and experience. $200+ should somehow provide us an extra fan in the room.

This hotel should be pulled down. Bathroom on a poor state, sink with rusty plug hole. Entrance cat walk with filthy carpet overlooking smelly dustbins. Room carpets filthy plugs hanging off the wall. Windows filthy. Cosmos should be ashamed of themselves putting some of us here and others over the road at the Banff Park Lodge. The YMCA has better...

We chose the property on location and price and it delivered on both counts. An old hotel which has seen better days with lumpy beds and curtains which barely keep out the street lights. It was reasonably clean and sufficed for a one night stay.

This "inn" will be torn down in October and replaced by something newer. Given the condition of the place, the horrible street noise coming in through thin walls and weak windows, the hard beds, the terribly stained carpets, and the still $150/ nite price after all the extras are thrown in, GOOD! Make it a really big crane ball. (we...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Cosmos tour. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of town. Homestead is a very old hotel, old furniture, no lift up to 2nd floor. The carpet is in need of cleaning or replacing. The bed was ok but was double size only. The staff at the hotel...

Great location- very close to main attractions. The staff are super personable and they were so accommodating, especially over the long weekend. For the price, you really can't go wrong. The only thing I would say is that there aren't any elevators, but there are rooms on the main floor. Every room is guaranteed a mountain view. Coming from Ontario,...
