Hi, we just came back from a weekend hiking in Banff and had a great time (June 25th). We stayed at Johnson Canyon Park Resort - used a Travel Zoo voucher which gave us 40% off a two bedroom fully equipped cottage. There were 5 adults and this cabin was great, with a kitchenette and BBQ we were able to...

We had the pleasure of staying at Johnston Canyon Resort for a few days this past week. Though we were initially frustrated by the fact that no one ever answered the phone when we called to make reservations (we made them thru booking.com) and our phone messages were not returned til we were in route...we understand that it was early...

Vintage, wood cabins set amoung the trees adjoining Johnston Canyon. Several different sized cabins with varied amenities. We chose a pet friendly cabin. There is only one type of cabin for guests with pets. Its called a duplex cabin. We had #5A. It had one, comfortable, queen bed, table and 2 chairs. As well as two upholstered arm chairs by...

Hi we stayed at the Johnston Canyon for 7 nights as we had planned for a few Hike to Pito Lake etc. and the cottage were nice & comfortable. We could also take pets there so being an added advantage. Its very near toe the Johnstons Canon so one of our small Hike started from here.

Our stay was rather charming in such a lovely setting. The nature was quite spectacular. The mountains and closeness of them to our cabin created a surreal experience. The cabins had a nice character to them. The lodge has a nearby restaurant and gift shop and seemed reasonable The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were glad to see our nice and very clean cabin. It was a long trip and needed some good rest and peace. The location next to the trail to the waterfalls is very convenient and we had friendly service and attention. The prices were good too. Would like to return someday in the spring.

There were a lot of animals sighted on the Bow Valley which is right next to the Resort which was great. We were pleased with the friendliness of the staff. Our stay was wonderful as they provided lovely hospitality and service. Our cabin was clean and cozy. The checking in procedures were very thorough and complete. The meals in the...

We would have liked to stay a bit longer but had to return back. The linens are nicely appointed and we found our cabin was clean. It was nice to have an opportunity to experience scenery without all the crowds and noise. Very peaceful. If possible we would recommend a cabin a bit bigger. They have a variety of cabins...

Was like a step back in time. Very nice/clean little cabin that accommodated 5 of us. Cute little diner and gift shop on the property. The waterfalls right next to hotel was amazing, Away from the hustle and bustle of Banff. Quiet location. Lots of great wildlife viewing in the area. If you're expecting posh - this isn't the place...

Had 3 days at this resort in August on our car trip through the Rockies. Had booked the resort after reading favourable reviews and after another resort stay at Jasper had high expectations of our Rockies experience. What a disappointment! The check in staff had little interest in us, as she was too busy talking with a friend who had...
