Although it might be an exaggeration that it is as bad as a World War I muster gas attack, the smell of chlorine/bromine gas in the hall and in our room was really over powering. Spending time in the great out doors and the freshest air in the world and come here and have your nostrils burned by the smell of pool chemicals. It’s not just a little whiff or i wouldn’t have taken the time to warn folks. Called the front desk was told to open my window? These folks should probably invest in better pool area ventilation.

Heater not working properly in room and I complained several times. They said there was an extra blanket in the room, there was no blanket. Said they would bring a portable heater, never did get one. They basically just ignored the problem. Outside temperature was -20C and room temperature never rose above 18C. Baseboard heater barely worked. The staff at the desk did not really seem to care and could only say, "I am Sorry". That is not acceptable. At checkout I complained once again and was offered a very small discount. I told them I would never stay there again.

Spent three days here over Christmas and had a lovely time. With Covid you must be prepared to be accommodating and pivot as necessary. Location is great, right on Banff Ave. It's near the end of the street, but still very close to town centre. Easy walk, except when it's -30° and that walk feels very long!! Lol! Dress warmly!! We arrived early and they were able to find us a room right away which we truly appreciated! Would not have been my first choice of rooms (near elevator and vending). But we didnt ask to be moved as we were grateful for them accommodating us and overall it truly was very quiet. (Despite noisy guests who slammed their doors continually at 6 am on Christmas morning...sigh! Nothing to do with the hotel...I wish people were more cognizant of being

This was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had in my life. We stayed in the mountain loft suite with the jetted tub, which is supposed to be their best room and which cost us about $900 for two days, and it definitely wasn't worth it. They didn't clean our room and they didn't have parking so I asked if we could just cancel and go somewhere else but was told not without paying them in full. It seems like every time we used the jetted tub in our room, we would get a phone call from the front desk saying that someone complained about our tub leaking into their room. I couldn't see it leaking and it wasn't overflowing or anything like that, so we're not sure where the leak is coming from, but we just stopped using the tub, which was unfortunate because it was THE reason we

My husband and I just came back from Banff and as usual we stayed at the Caribou Lodge. When I say disappointed does NOT cover it . When We made our reservation NO WHERE did it mention that the restaurant would be close Lounge would be close and that there would be construction going on . When we arrived we were giving a room ABOVE the kitchen We went to check it out We could not even speak to each other the noise was unbearable ( they were jack hammering the floor ) The young girl at the desk agreed to move us at the other end of the hotel . Telling us that for breakfast and dinner we can order and have the food deliver to our room Same thing for drinks . What kind of B.S. is that ? Just having a thin plastic around the kitchen for protection is not acceptable

This is our favorite hotel in Banff. It beautiful, well staffed, next to a playground, and just the right walking distance from downtown to get the blood moving on the way to breakfast, The staff is efficient and helpful. The stay quiet,

Good stay in October 2021. Hot pool was great for soaking sore legs after a day in the mountains. Room was small but we made it work. Loved the smell of the wood fire from the lobby- made it very cozy. Free underground parking is a nice touch.

Pet friendly, good staff and clean. No trip to Alberta not complete without a couple of days in Banff. We've stayed here in the past and never disappointed. The Keg restaurant on site and one of the more consistent better restaurants chains. Underground parking is good and for what its worth the luggage carts actually work.

A nice comfortable stay. Inviting lobby. Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby in the mornings. The room was clean and nice. Family oriented. Staff wore masks. The restaurant recommended reservations for dinner, but breakfast and lunch was always available. A nice breakfast buffet was available.

We had a corner loft suite with jacuzzi tub and mountain view. We were pleased with the room. The pics and description are realistic/true. It is pricy but we enjoyed our accommodation and the staff are very personable and friendly. The only warning I would have is the pull-out couch. I tried the pull-out bed on the lower level of our loft the first night and it was terrible (and I normally have no issue with pull-outs). The second night I slept with my daughter in the king sized bed upstairs and it was wonderful. The room and some decor is dated but most are in the town of Banff. The facility and rooms were spotless. Very clean. Good quality king bed. Nice view. Good coffee downstairs in the morning. The Keg was good of course. Spa treatment excellent. Warm pool very nice. A
