Nice location, near to restaurants, stores and some attractions. The people at the front desk were very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, but the view was not of the good ones. I think is more than enough, specially if you will be taking tours or driving around.

Blood on sheets. Yes, you heard that right. Been here a few times and are experiences were fine… no problems! So, my fault as I never checked the sheets when we got in. As my husband and I were getting into bed for the night, there was blood spatters on the sheet. We were horrified and disgusted. Obviously, the sheets were not changed from previous guest. We changed rooms at 10:30 pm to a downgraded room. New room was much cleaner smelling. The management was dismissive as my husband talked to her next morning! They NEVER APOLOGIZED!! So, obviously even if the location is great… we will NEVER stay there again. Gave a discount in the end but still had to pay a fee. Worst hospitality we’ve ever experienced. When you made a HUGE disgusting mistake… one should apologize. Brewsters service is terrible!!!

We are sorry that your recollection of this event is not accurate. We did offer a complimentary night as well as an additional discount for the remaining night of your stay for the inconvenience of having to downgrade your room due to availability issues.

The Brewster was clean, comfortable, great location, and we loved our balcony! Linens and towels were very nice. The Pendelton bed covers were a ver nice touch. The beds were very comfortable! Our rented suburban fit in the underground parking. Breakfast was ample and refilled frequently.

Hotel clean and quiet particularly as it's on the Main Street. But we did have a room at the rear. Convenient for walking around Banff centre and for resturants etc. Hotel a little tired and our room was a bit on the small side with very little room to put our luggage or unpack. The front desk staff were not very communicative or enthusiastic and never smiled! Good breakfast and the lady who ran it was very efficient and she smiled (: and said god morning. Parking underneath hotel a great plus.

A wonderful gem right in Banff townsite. The lodge was clean, beds very comfortable, the loft room rustic and cozy. Breakfast service staff worked hard to keep fresh food readily available and the breakfast nook tidy. Thanks for the great service and lovely stay!

Great experience as a birthday trip for my husband. Clean updated rooms with good linens and comfortable bed. I am always cold and the blanket weight was just right to be comfortable. The staff was great and helpful whenever we had questions or needed a taxi. The included breakfast was just right to fill up before a day of hiking. I'm a sustenance eater so I didn't need anything more than the food provided. Pastries, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal left plenty of choices. Great in town location and beautiful views from room 305 balcony.

Stayed with friends. The hotel has a lodge feel. Easy access with underground parking. The hotel is in the heart of the town and makes walking anywhere easy. The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful, and recommended some great tourist attractions that not everyone knew about, so would not be very busy. Thank you for the great stay!

Staying in Banff, we were hoping for a room with a view but ended up with a view of a yard quadrant serviced by local restaurants. We should have suspected there would be noise when we saw ear plugs were laid out at the bedside. Having said that, the staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet had a wide range of hot and continental with lovely home-baked pastries (sweet and savoury). As Autumn was approaching, it was nice to have fresh oatmeal each morning. It was a little confusing working out the layout of the hotel but as long as you follow the signage, you won't get too lost! Banff is so busy, we had to pay for parking but it wasn't too expensive, and being in the centre of town, it is well placed for good eateries. The visitor centre was worth a look as they gave us important advice for walks and staying safe from wildlife - its easy and affordable to hire bear spray, so please do it (we heard of a fatal attack just a few days later in a neighbouring county). To view black bears and elk safely, drive out at dusk to the golf course!

This is a great place to stay in the middle of everything Banff has to offer. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and clean. The breakfast was complimentary and perfectly adequate. I was surprised that parking wasn’t included in the room rate but it was reasonable for Banff.
