This hotel is in a good location right on Banff Ave. Has all the amenities you need, rooms are clean, staff is helpful, underground heated parking, nice big hot tub at a reasonable rate in Banff. I love staying here when I come to Banff for individuals or groups.

Perfect for a nights stay. About a 15 minute walk down into the town but with a restaurant and bar nearby which we used a couple of time, especially in happy hour. Comfy rooms and a huge bed. Small indoor pool which we didn’t use. Approx 30 minutes drive to lake Louise from here, but we left a 6.20am to get there for sunrise and to get a parking space, couldn’t believe how busy it was that time in the minoring.

Only had a 1 night stay here, as we had previously visited Banff for the day whilst staying in Canmore, but it was really nice and could quite easily have stayed longer!! Good large room, friendly staff, we just parked on the adjacent street, but it has parking underneath. Easy 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Banff.

We had a lovely stay at the Banff Inn for 3 nights. The beds were really soft as were the pillows. The rooms very clean and the location was within walking distance of many things. I wasn't thrilled with the hot tub as it seemed like the jets were only like running water. No big deal. The staff was wonderful too. We would definitely recommend this property.

This was our least favourite hotel on our Canada road trip. We were due to stay for 3 nights but ended up missing the first night as we’d stayed in Jasper due to bad weather conditions (a weather warning and 511 Alberta advice not to drive). Appreciating this was booked through a third party,l and therefore not much the hotel could do, I didn’t appreciate the tone of the chap checking is in who said that others had arrived from Jasper and suggesting that perhaps the previous accommodation discouraged us from driving so they’d get another night from us! Aside from that, one of the beds in our two bedded room had seen better days - the mattress was sinking, but the other was thankfully good. Kettles are available at reception, no safe in the room. No views at all (other than into other rooms) which is a shame given the beautiful area. The staff lacked the warmth and friendliness we encountered across our trip.

Stayed in a standard room, amenities were good in the room, bed was comfortable and room was well spaced and lit, staff were ok, bath towels in the room were far too small, didn't use the facilities in hotel so cannot comment on them, it's a 15 minute walk to Banff shops and restaurants

We spent 4 nights at the Banff Inn this week. The room was quiet, clean and well maintained although the beds were a bit hard. The hotel is toward the end of Banff Avenue so we found ourselves walking a lot until we discovered the bus, which is a great asset to Banff. The steam room, sauna and hot tub were also nice. We ate at Carlitos a couple of times, and enjoyed the pizza and poutine there.

Nice, comfortable bed. Clean room. Towels could have been a little larger. Great location, within ten to fifteen minute walk to the main downtown area of Banff. Free parking garage. Restaurant with pizza and sandwiches on site.

A very large but very dark room on the ground floor. No one came to service the room on thefirst day. Our fridge was so cold that the food we had bought for breakfast was frozen solid! We decided to eat breakfast in the restaurant. I can honestly say it was the worst breakfast I have ever eaten and cost 60 dollars. I mentioned all of this at checkout - received a cursory ‘I’m sorry’. Don’t make this your first choice hotel - definitely not value for money.

I am rating this as poor due to customer relations. Our first night the bathroom smelled like sewer. We could not use the bathroom the next morning as it smelled so bad. We informed the front desk whom said they'd have maintenance check on it. We went out for the day and when we got back the front desk told us it hadn't been fixed and they'd have to move us to a new room which wouldn't be ready until 4 pm. We had plans of coming back after a long day and taking showers to get ready to go out to happy hour and dinner. There were no apologies from management. We asked to have that nights charge taken off our bill and management gave us a very hard time instead of apologizing. In my opinion we should of had both nights given to us for the inconvenience we dealt with here. I won't be recommending this place to snyone.
