Stayed one night in September for our anniversary.
We loved the rustic main lodge, it had so many interesting artifacts and books. I was surprised how close to the highway the main lodge is, but didn't hear traffic at all during our stay.

No. The lodge is located in somewhat isolated location (on a highway but away from any urban center). While there are various public transportation possibilities from Calgary to Banff, Lake Louise, etc. there would be nothing available to this facility. A rental vehicle would be the recommended means of travel. (The added bonus of a rental would be the opportunity to tour and view more of this exceptionally attractive area!). Note that if travel is planned for winter months highly recommend the rental of a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Cheers!
