Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and a good size. Location is not right in the downtown area of Banff so it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk there but we liked it that way.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a top floor suite which supposedly included a kitchen which we paid extra for. Love the setup, decor and loft and so did our boys but calling the kitchen a kitchen is a big stretch. Microwave was way smaller than we expected, couldn’t even get a bacon tray in there to make breakfast. Mini fridge was big enough but was not cold so we turned it up alittle then it started freezing stuff which was annoying. Doesn’t have a stove but burner plates, front one was broken so that wasn’t of much use. Used the back one but there was no fan so the smoke just stayed in the room. Tried to open the window and the arm to retract it broke off so we couldn’t close it. Lucky maintenance came up right away to repair it. Tried to use the toaster even though we were told that the room didnt have one but did anyways. Could only use one side because the front side was smoking too much to use. Parking garage is bizarre, has a ridiculous low clearance and the lines badly need to be repainted so it’s difficult to tell where you can and can not park. Pool was nice but hottub was more of a warm tub which sucks when your muscles hurt.

Location is good, decent walk, nice to be near downtown. Garage access is nice, can go right up to room from basement. Room was a bit dated, carpet was old needed to be replaced, not as clean as we had hoped(hair from previous guests on sheets and bathroom floor). Discussed concerns about cleanliness with front desk, management didn’t respond.

Room was fairly large and the bedding was soft and nice. There is no microwave in the room so you need to go the front desk if you need to warm up food. Internet was fine in the daytime but super slow at night when the hotel is busier. LOVELY pool area with warm pool water and a larger hot tub.

We stayed at this hotel and in the beginning we were pleased with our stay until we lost our keys and had to search the room. We found garbage along the board under our bed and a previous guests panties in between there headboard and the mattress. I brought it up to the front desk and they told me a manager will be contacting me which never happened. I was offered no compensation for our disgusting find. I would not recommend this hotel.

Rundlestone Lodge is a good option if you want to be walking distance from town. The hotel is nice overall and has good facilities - however as many places in Banff in the warmer months, is over priced. The beds were comfortable, and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is nice, with Rundle Stone accents which echo the Banff Springs.

I booked this hotel because it was the first one that I saw offering a jacuzzi suite with king bed.
I agree with other reviews that some fixtures are ready for an upgrade, but it's super clean and the service is exceptional, very friendly staff.
It's a nice walk to downtown, and quiet because it's closer to the end of the strip.
We stayed in Summer, but this suite, with the cozy fireplace, would be perfect for relaxing after a day of Winter activities.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Close enough to downtown to walk. Front desk has free passes for the Roam shuttle if you don’t feel like walking. Nice staff with good tips for restaurants and hikes.

My only complaint is that we had to ask for maid service. We returned from a full day out expecting a tidied room and found ours untouched. For our four night stay, the room was only cleaned once when I asked the front desk for maid services.

Dear ShannaM392, Thank you for choosing the Rundlestone Lodge as a part of your travel. I am happy to learn that you had enjoyed the stay, and had a relaxing time in Banff. While we are transferring to a new normal back from COVID, we find it important to not enter the rooms by default. This is a nice, clean place and the staff are very helpful. It has a nice view. When we visited Banff, it was cold and snowing but it has an underground parking. Another factor is the Patrinos Restaurant, really good food.

We stayed here while visiting Banff a few years ago and our stay was nice overall. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable, which are the 2 biggest things for us for hotels. The location is a bit far from town, but it's an easy walk and the price was in line for most of the area in the summer. We had breakfast there as well and it was plentiful and hearty, which is what you need before a day of hiking. It's a nice hotel overall and it's a good option if you're staying in Banff.

Where do you go for breakfast?
3 helpful votes
There is a restaurant here in the hotel that provides breakfast daily for a extra charge. Their exact opening hours and menu options are currently dependent on the Covid related restrictions that are in place so feel free to contact us directly with your dates of stay and we can provide you with more detailed information. There are also other restaurants nearby that have great breakfast menus.

Hello looking to stay in May, is your hot tub open? Do any of the rooms have jacuzzis if it is not?
