Great location, about 7 minute walk from downtown, so it's quiet with a lovely little park right next door great for relaxing in the shade of some beautiful trees. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friend and helpful. Ken and Line at the front counter were awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We hope to see you again during your next stay in Banff and don't forget to use your returning guest discount. This park is also a great location to observe deer and elk. I'll make sure to pass along your good words to Line and Ken. Warm regards, Amelie P.

This hotel is very comfortable and staff is so pleasant and helpful. My truck is tall so couldn't park in the underground parking but found parking behind the hotel. Staff offered a free bus pass which took us through the town and to the gondola - great use of this resource. The room was quiet and comfortable. The pool looked very nice.

Use this hotel each time I visit Banff. Did some room renos recently and they look fantastic. Friendly staff, clean, and good choice of rooms available. Underground parking is a positive along with the storage for ski gear. Definitely will continue to stay here in the future.

We enjoyed a one night stay here and it was a decent night, good sleep, and good customer service.

Our room was surprisingly upgraded with no mention of that at check in, thanx to the hotel for that little bonus.

Room seemed quite clean, and was functional, was a good option for a single night. Bed was fine, pillows good, no noise inside or outside the hotel at all.

The hotel itself is in need of a Reno, starting to look tired, mostly in the room, but some public area stuff as well. Not enough to affect our stay at all, but noticeable that it was getting along to be time for an update.

That said, good one night stay and we would return.

If you like brown, then this is the hotel for you… our room was grubby due to lack of cleaning and definitely needs updating. The reception staff paid lip service to customers needs. No restaurant or bar, thankfully everything close by. Would not recommend.

Super cozy and comfy hotel. Stayed here with my partner in July, where we went for a hiking vacay in Banff. The room was a good size, and I loved the private double-tub after a long hike! The pool area was okay, could have been cleaner, but okay facilities. A special shout out to our receptionist, a great young woman (didn’t get her name) who offered brilliant hiking recommendations and was generally just super cool and helpful! The complimentary roam pass offered by the hotel was great for transportation, but a good to know is that it does only covers local routes, thus not routes to Lake Louise or Johnston Canyon (these must be bought separately). Thanks for a great stay :-)

Wonderful hotel. My family of 5 have been coming here for many years. Once we find a hotel we like we stick with it. Have always found their staff to be kind, courteous and helpful. The Rundlestone Lodge has never disappointed us. We have enjoyed the many different rooms they have to offer my family. My kids especially enjoy their pool and jacuzzi area. Other friends and family have joined us there over the years and enjoyed their loft and jacuzzi suites as well. The restaurant in the hotel is Patrino’s and we found their food was terrific too. Would we go there again…have already booked our next trip. Hope you enjoy this hotel as much as we have.

It was an absolute pleasure to see you and the family again, and especially so after the last few years of uncertainty. You are all such a delight to host and myself and the rest of the team here always appreciate your visits and enjoy our catch ups. Thanks also for taking the time to leave some feedback - such kind words mean a lot to the staff here. All the best for the coming year and here's to another twenty years of visits to the Rundlestone!

Hubby & I stayed 2 nights in the honeymoon suite. Room was very clean and spacious. Fireplace and jacuzzi were great. Jacuzzi can accommodate 2 people comfortably. The fireplace projects a lot of heat. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Suite is stocked with kitchen essentials, extra towels and bathrobes. Free underground parking. We enjoyed our stay.

We were at Rundlestone for a Pastor's Retreat. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. The meeting rooms facilitated all our needs, our room was comfortable, the healthclub, pool and hottub wonderful. We left feeling very satisfied until we reached Canmore on our way home and realized we may have left some valuables back in the hotel room at Rundlestone. We called the front desk and talked to Dannie Brownsey - she assured us that she would go take a look in the room for the items we may have left behind - she found them and promptly called us back. We were over the moon, as in happy, that she had found the valuables and when we returned to Rundlestone, she delivered them to us. How do you beat that for hospitality. Thank you Dannie, and thank you Rundlestone for a great weekend in Banff.

Very poor. We were “upgraded” to a room on the ground floor overlooking the car park entrance - not great for a 3 night stay. The hotel pool was out of order and there was no bar or food facilities. The hotel is in need of a refurb. On the plus side you do get a free pass to use the shuttle service.

Where do you go for breakfast?
3 helpful votes
There is a restaurant here in the hotel that provides breakfast daily for a extra charge. Their exact opening hours and menu options are currently dependent on the Covid related restrictions that are in place so feel free to contact us directly with your dates of stay and we can provide you with more detailed information. There are also other restaurants nearby that have great breakfast menus.

Hello looking to stay in May, is your hot tub open? Do any of the rooms have jacuzzis if it is not?
