The cabin was perfect, the staff were helpful, a very good stay for the money. There maybe a train track nearby the the train visits are brief and didn't impact the stay. We also appreciated the general store as they had what we needed in a pinch. Will be back again

There wasn't much going on so I spent a couple days at Castle Mountain Chalets with my dog. We went for a ton of walks. I went into Lake Louise and Banff for groceries and dinner. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well.

If you don't want pet hair all over your clothes and person I'd recommend a different place over inch lenght hair everywhere. Told front desk notified they had pet free but didn't offer to us but we had to sign that we had no pets so why sign you don't have pets just to be forced stay in room that had pets inside and not cleaned

We received a discount code for bookings for this time of year during the shoulder/off season and were excited to book for the second time this year. We stayed in the Mountain Pine Chalet this time which is one large room with a king sized bed, queen pullout couch, small kitchen and bathroom. This was perfect for 2 of us plus one dog. If you are a light sleeper the trains can be a bit bothersome so would recommend some earplugs! Love this location, the staff are always amazing, and there are so many trail options right outside your door. We will be back next year!

We love Castle Mountain chalets! They are so cozy and lovely. The area is so lovely and the views are beautiful. Our cabin had a full kitchen, real fireplace and jet tub. The patio is the perfect place for morning coffee or to star gaze in the evening. It’s a great location half way between Banff and Lake Louise. We are excited to come back. I definitely recommending staying here.

Nice chalets with romantic fireplaces. Very comfy bed! The kitchen has all you need. Nice stay in the middle of a foreest. The only thing needing replacement is the heating system, which is too loud. .

On Oct 19, I made an error on the arrival date using their website to make a reservation. I noticed the mistake immediately and sent a cancellation.I also contacted them directly by email about the mistake I was still charged $25 fee for an 8 minute mistake. Be careful using their reservation system because it is unforgiving I will not be going to Castle Mountain in the future nor will I be recommending it to ny of my friends

Would not recommend staying here. Wood is usually wet, items missing and be careful you're not overcharged, they don't know how to give you a receipt! Not happy with this recent stay whatsoever. Cost and location are decent but that's about it IMO.

A beautiful place where we could prepare our own healthy meals. Lots of great hikes nearby. We could hear the trains pass by and stroll to the nearby River. It is an off the beaten path and we love it.

Right next to the railway. Poor maintenance. The AC makes a lot of noise. Cannot sleep with the heater on. No front desk at all. The stuff hand us an envelope to ask us self checkin because he is about to leave at 8pm. The bathtub is not clean with soap gum all around it. At lease two trains pass by the hotel, and feels like earthquake during the night.
