Read some of the comments... This is a Hostel International facility. it is clean, spacious/airy, friendly, and you spend your money locally, then come home to sleep, shower, and get moving again. If you can't handle a dorm room of four or six, spend a little more money for a single or double and stop whinging. Have been YHA since...

I stayed one night in a 6-person all female dorm room. The room and its bathroom was clean, the lockers in the room were much appreciated. The front desk service was great as well. My only complaint is that more lockers would have been a good idea by the reception desk, though I understand that there's not space to add...

This is a great hostel in Banff. I stayed for three nights while traveling through the Rockies and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and how amazing the staff were! The rooms are pretty tight and some are on very low levels but are all clean and the common bathrooms are actually really lovely. The bar is the place to...

This was NOT an amazing hostel the only reason it gets 2/5 is because all the staff were very nice and went out of their way to help you. Main downfalls- tiny rooms packed with 6 people each/ location is awful/ needs a thorough clean/ it's expensive for what it is. The location is the worst thing about this place....

Perfect for someone who doesn't mind being a little out of town, has some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Stayed in a six person room but never had more than 3 in the room. Walls are a bit thin but didn't spend to much time in the room as they have a very large sitting area as you come...

It's what it is, as many alpine centers is some inexpensive, but don't expect a luxory hotel. Really confortable, nice place, very nice people and with a parking lot. The cabins are big enough for at least 4, the general look is more like a cabin (as it is) than a hotel, but they are really clean. A perfect place...

I checked in on the evening of the 23rd and stayed for a solo trip for about a week. The location is decent -- because it's about 15 minutes away walking distance from the heart of downtown, they give you a free bus pass throughout the week, which leaves from a nearby location every 40 minutes. It's got a restaurant...

I only stayed here a couple nights as it was the only hostel with vacancy over the weekend. It was a nice place, big kitchen/dining area that didn't get too busy. It has its own bar which seemed popular though I didn't go in. The rooms were a little small especially for this time of year when people have snowboards...

The hostel was as good as a hostel can be. Excellent facilities eg. kitchen, bar, common areas all very well appointed. The only thing i can say is if you want to be staying in the middle of town, don't stay here. It is a few km's from the town centre and up a huge hill which was not a...

As my trip to Banff was last-minute, I justified it by booking a hostel for a cheap room instead of a hotel. I booked a bed in a female four-bed room with ensuite bathroom, but upon check-in was put into a female six-bed room. It didn't end up being a problem because there were never more than 3 of us...
