This is the perfect place to stay for those wanting to set up a job and an apartment in Banff as they offer a 2 week job seeker package with the best rate in town. The hostel itself is beautiful with fantastic service, the hostel is super clean and the shared kitchen is huge with a great system of food...

Very clean and comfortable hostel, more spacious than others I have stayed in around that area. Staff were super helpful and friendly. A bit out of the center of Banff but walk isn't too far and the hostel gives a free bus pass. Highly recommend!

There was a nice atmosphere in the hostel. The rooms were fairly cramped (we stayed in a 6-person mixed) but everything was clean: the female shared bathroom on the corridor was very clean. There are lockers available in the rooms but you need to bring your own padlock. There is a well-equipped, large shared kitchen. We really only used the...

Clean and comfortable hostel in a good location for walking into town. We enjoyed the cheap drinks in the cellar bar and took part in the organised pub crawl which was great fun with lovely staff. Only down side was out meal in cougar pete's restaurant as it took over an hour after ordering for our food to arrive and...

This hostel had the friendliest and most helpful staff in all the hostels I have stayed in. A little bit out if town but walking distance. Amongst some great hikes though. Staff recommended some great places to eat. Always fun and social at the bar downstairs.

This was my first time ever staying in a hostel and I have to admit... I was unsure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised by the great location, super clean room and extremely friendly staff. The washrooms are shared so that's not a plus but otherwise, I have no complaints. The best part about this place was its...

The Banff Alpine Centre is located about 5 min drive and 20 min walk from downtown Banff. It has plenty of parking (passes sold at the visitor center downtown). We stayed in a mixed dorm of 6 people. The beds are very sturdy wood framed, so getting up on the upper bunks feels safe and solid. They also don't skweak....

We stay here quite often when we come to Banff because it's one of the most affordable options, but it's certainly not anything special; crampy rooms with stale air, but the staff is friendly and helpful! If you're looking for a place to rest your head between adventures without breaking the bank, this will be just fine!
