This hotel is a real gem. The rooms where great my only complaint of the room is you can hear the trains when you are sleeping if you face the car park. The food was amazing I really liked the beef. .

The real wood fireplace was a very nice touch. Great food at top notch restaurant, cozy cabin-like rooms, much better than staying right on the lake. Good value. Highly recommended. The balcony allows you some outdoor space. I found the trains to be charming but would recommend that you request room that faces away from the track.

My husband and I chose the post for our wedding venue and we were not disappointed. It is a beautiful hotel, with amazing food. The wedding and reception were both at the hotel. The staff is amazing, anything we needed and it was done. The rooms are rustic but it's basically a log cabin but that's part of the charm....

Nice hotel…if only it was not built so very close to the railway!! What a nightmare! And of course, they don't tell you this important detail when you book. We spent a first horrible night, and then asked to move to the other side of the hotel…facing a nice steam, lawns, and nice chalets. We spent there another 2 nights.not...

After reading some of the latest reviews, I was a bit worried. However we had a very pleasant stay. We were there just one night, 2 adults and 2 kids, and everything was very nice. Expensive, for sure, but that's the case everywhere in the Canadian Rockies. We booked a double room, facing the parking lot. We heard the train...

I will explain the "almost" description first in case you have issues similar to ours. 1. The hotel has no air conditioning in the guest rooms or public spaces (except the exercise room). 2. Many rooms have fireplaces and the hotel keeps a fire going in the lounge 24/7. The cabins in front of the preferred side all have fireplaces...

Wasn't impressed with the "View" in our view room --we looked at the entrance to a unit that really had a river view, but loved everything else about the hotel. Excellent, attentive, friendly service. A Banff local told me that the restaurant was excellent, and he was right. It seemed expensive at first, but as we dined elsewhere and spent...

We stayed at this lovely hotel as part of our Canadian Rockies hiking tour. When I checked in I couldn't help but notice the large, beautiful floral arrangements and large, beautiful carpets throughout the lobby. I took advantage of complementary tea and refreshed myself in the spacious Jacuzzi in my bathroom. The restaurant featured an extensive number of perfectly prepared...

This is a very nice hotel. Butlers were there to help us with our luggage when we arrived. Nice, old, rustic hotel. We had a balcony room right next to the creek. Love it! The service was exceptional. Very big wine cellar!! Nice big, spacious room and comfy beds. I would definitely stay here again.
