Weather plays a large factor here but if you catch it on a great day, its unlike anything I've ever seen. It was raining at first so we couldn't go on the canoes but cleared up right on time and we ended up being the first on the lake. The views are unbelievable and HIGHLY

Stayed here for a couple of days but should have stayed longer. The whole place is lovely even with all the day trippers. We had a room in the main lodge with views of the lake which was a great surprise and a great experience. The restaurant was great and the staff were

This was our favourite hotel during our 3 week road trip in Canada, and Moraine Lake was also our favourite and most memorable spot. This is a gorgeous boutique hotel with the most breathtaking location. Access to Moraine Lake is restricted to visitors during peak times and

With cloud sitting heavy overhead we didn’t get to see the towering mountains that look down on Moraine Lake and Lodge but it didn’t matter as we were welcomed by a surprise snowfall which turned the area into a winter wonderland and looked stunning against the turquoise lake.

Parking is ok but as the Hotel car park fills the main car park starts to empty so I have never had a problem. Dining cost, well that depends on you palette, the most I have paid is about 70 Cad Dollars. The food is really good, however as is the norm these days most is a little rare for me so I always ask for an extra few minutes cooking. I hope this helps. I have stayed at the Lodge several times, living in England the Lodge, the staff and everyone I have met there are so kind and friendly. Blooming perfect!

Hi. It’s better to book a table because the dining room is not so huge. But i guess we did it only 1-2 weeks before by email to be sure to have one at our arrival. Everything was nice (food, service, room....) dont hesitate to ask a table « next to the window ». Have fun

Yes, I think they do, as I booked my accommodation last December when they would have been closed and I remember having some correspondence with them at the time. So they should get back in touch with you soon. I communicated via email and it was fine. So fingers crossed you'll hear from them soon.

@625WendyB, the rock pile is just in front of the Lodge; a small mountain of rocks that have built up, possibly as a result of rock slides?? Not sure, but tourists climb (hike) the rock pile for pictures and great views of the lake.

We were at Moraine Lake in early August. Temps during the day were in the upper 60s- to mid 70s. I would recommend layers. The ladies on our trip wore leggings w/T (short & long sleeve) and sweat shirt or thermal pullover; the guys work jeans/shorts w/T and jackets. Comfortable hiking boots or walking shoes. Enjoy!
