This is the terrible experience I have had with any hotel. This is a cheap hotel but for the price or a bit extra you can find other places easily to have a good experience. The area is shady and there are drunk people everywhere. On the weekends the music from the bar is very loud. The hallways smell like marijuana and weird people everywhere. The beds are very uncomfortable and i got few bug bites on my one night stay. The rooms are very filthy and not cleaned well. The washrooms are also worn off. Not a good place to stay for sure. The front desk attendant Tina was great with service though and would treat you good but the morning shift lady was very rude and disrespectful. Upon our checkout she made us wait half an hour deliberately because i told her that the hotel policy wasnt communicated to us while checking in. She was very rude and kept telling me that she believes that it was communicated to us and never tried to confirm with her cross shift. Her janitor was there but she deliberately made us wait half an hour for our room to be checked for any damages and when my husband spoke to her she said she highly suggest you guys stay elsewhere. I compalined at hotel.com and she lied to them saying someone is already checking my room and she will get me refund in few minutes. When I was told the same by hotel.com i went to check and she said I will not do it until 9 am and you have to wait for next 25 minutes. Her Janitor was right there and still she made me wait for 25 minutes even after telling her we have other appointments and have to drive 500kms. It was the worst customer service experience. She doesnt deserve to be at customer service for sure. The other lady on the night shift Tina on the other hand was great and went above and beyond to help us. I will not advise anyone to waste their money and time in that hotel.

The only good things with this hotel is Tina at the front desk and the live music in the bar. Room wise... sleep in your vehicle it's safer. Me and a friend spent this passed weekend at this hotel in calgary and the night of the 22nd I got 117 bed bug bites in just 2.5 hours of sleep!!! Only thing the morning front desk lady said was on well we will move you to a different room (only 2 rooms down the hall) and they refunded 1 nights stay. All my makeup is garbage my hair stuff is garbage. My clothes had to be brought home in garbage bags and $50 worth of brand new clothes I had bought in Calgary are now children's sizes from washing and drying at high heat to kill ant bugs or eggs. Hotel manager won't talk to me I've called her twice and left messages. Have reported it to Calgary health authority. They said get a lawyer, and after seeing how bad the bites are was told to get to a Dr immediately. Now being treated with prescriptions for skin infections on the bites and being watched close by Dr for other health issues. It's been 6 days since I got bit and they are still extremely red and swollen hot and painful. I have not slept more then 3 hours a night since because I have major anxiety of bugs touching me and biting me in my sleep. Great way to end a vacation that was supposed to be fun and relaxing. Attached are a few pictures of how bad it is. Don't stay at this hotel.

I was extremely disappointed with this room. I stayed here for one night, as soon as I got there I considered checking out. The front staff was not friendly, and did not even take our ID (makes one question whether people book and stay on other people's ID's). Expedia shouldn't be advertising this place. The elevator felt like it would stop at any moment and was run down. The A/C was old and stayed at one temperature that was extremely cold, if you turned it off the room overheated in 5 minutes and then the room was unbearably hot. The room was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, the wifi was not working, there was one plug-in in the entire room, the bathroom was run-down and dirty, but on top of everything else the hot water was not working so no one could have a shower in the morning. The hallways were dirty, noisy, crowded with old furniture and smelled like marijuana. I do not recommend this hotel especially for elderly people or children. If you are looking for an economic stay in Calgary, and need something for a low rate, consider Travelodge or other cheaper hotels. This hotel isn't worth it for the price you pay, maybe if the price they currently charge is cut in half, it would be worth the price. It is the worst place I have ever stayed at and I have travelled to the third world.

What a dump! No cover on the A/C exposing the filthy innards that did not work. There was a floor fan in the room with no cover on it and the blades were filthy Balcony railing was rotted wood that you could see through. The bottom of the bathtub was worn off and painted over. The leaking roof was the last straw for us, woke up to a steady drip drip drip of water falling from the ceiling hitting the mirror on the desk.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Dirty, not very friendly staff, very loud bar on the main floor full of very intoxicated people. Oh and you can pretty much hear everything through the walls... I was woken up at 4am by music playing in the next room that was so loud it might as well have been playing in my own room. The music didn't stop until 6am. I found this to be really unacceptable. Will NEVER go back, and will absolutely not recommend it to anyone. Don't go there.

This hotel was fairly clean, but in need of a whole bunch of upgrades. It took 10 minutes to get warm water to have a shower, heat source was a small fan heater, the sliding patio door lock was a stick, I don't think I will be suggesting this one to anyone.

Make sure you don't go out after dark or you have a big bodyguard! The front desk clerks are never there hopefully they are not earning eaxtra income like the rest of the cliental around there. NO microwave, no coffee pot, and I thought I forgot what a vcr looked like. You can get a coffee in the lobby and its pretty rediculas that the guests have to pay for it. Stains on the blankets and bed spread. Prices are too high for extended stay for the quality. Unfriendly and rude.

A.M. Staff will not allow you to use the bathrooms. You must be a customer. Even if you are going to have breakfast and coffee you are still not allowed to use the potty. How to qualify as a customer i am not sure. I have a Class 1 license and have money but still not allowed to use washroom. I recomened if you plan on visiting that visit one of their bushes or trees before you go for your meal. If someone knows how you qualify as a customer would please be so kind as to let me me know. Thank you. :)) When you got to go you got to go . . . Very disapointed with the service and the rudeness from the lady behind the desk. I do not recomened visiting andwhere in Calgary is better then here. Dont expect to pee here. Its for customers only.

This is what you get for pushing through thunderstorms and trying to make it a few extra hours, you end up in Calgary during Stampede and every hotel in town is spoken for. Hard drinking clientele in the parking lot, lobby and bar area were first thing I noticed when I pulled up. As I had been onphone with CAA and online with Expedia, I knew this was it so I decided to make the best of it and stripped EVERYTHING off my heavily laden cross-country travelling motorcycle and lugged it to my room. While checking in, a cabful of young upper-middle class girls spilled out of a cab. Turns out they flew into town for Stampede and had been to no less than 15 hotels before this one. The look on their faces was priceless. I think I heard "Oh my gawd" like 20 times. As a drunken bar patron stumbled out and started bugging them for money, I felt sorry for them and actually walked them to their rooms. Yes, it was that bad. These 6 uppity young white girls were willing to take a walk to their rooms from a road-weathered Aboriginal biker to feel safe. Lol. Although my bed did not have bedbugs I still didn't trust the general uncleanliness of it. Further, the bed was like a piece of cardboard. I laid a tarp over the bed and slept in my sleeping bag. I have flown into many remote communities and styed in some shady places out of necessity, never thought one in Calgary would rank among them. Woke up at the crack of dawn and got out of there before the drunks passed out on the balconies got up.
