Novel Bed & Breakfast is ideally located in Inglewood, an eclectic community near downtown Calgary. In 2014, Inglewood was named Canada’s greatest neighbourhood and it continues to thrive. We are walking distance to 9th avenue, one of Calgary’s most popular shopping areas including restaurants, pubs, cafes, and luxury retail. We are also near the Calgary Zoo, Telus Spark Science Centre, Deane House, Fort Calgary, and Stampede Park. Please visit our Things to do in Calgary and Area for more information on these and other attractions. Novel Bed & Breakfast finished construction in 2017. The house was purpose built as a Bed and Breakfast with four guest rooms, each featuring a luxurious private ensuite. The guest side of the house has a private entrance for guests, a large dining area, and comfortable living space for guests to visit or curl up with a good book.

We stayed in the Sci-Fi room - it's charming, spotlessly clean, bay window giving you a view of the YYC cityscape, a smaller window in the ensuite beautiful bathroom with an inviting soaker tub. Our room was so comfortable and inviting, has a comfortable bed, quality bedding, pillows & linens. For breakfast we had a choice of two full breakfasts and a lovely mango-pineapple smoothie. We sat in the common living room with its comfortable seating and sipped a cocktail before heading out for dinner. My friend called ahead to arrange with our hosts that they have chocolates, flowers, and bubbly on ice in our room upon arrival. The hosts were great and made this happen, thank you Allie! In one word, your home is 'adorable.' Would we come back? Yes, in a heartbeat!

Wow… this bed and breakfast is amazing ! Great and spotless rooms with a nice bathroom. The hosts are super and the breakfast wow… close to Calgary and we had the silence fiction room with a nice view at the Calgary Tower. I really recommend this bed and breakfast. The best I ever had in Calgary !

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast! Ali and Kyle were friendly and quite caring. They asked at breakfast how things were going and whether we needed anything. It’s a beautiful house that’s was built as a b&b. This helps guests feel comfortable. Bottled water was available for guests and we were welcomed with a special treat in our room. Rooms were clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was amazing. Delicious food and presented quite nicely. Ali is very organized and asks guests to make menu selections the night before. Wonderful selections, large portions and attention to detail is evident. It’s situated close to town centre and there are many nice shops and restaurants there. Our favourite was called Without Papers Pizza. We had the one called Pandemic and loved it. This B&B follows Covid protocols and we would certainly stay here again! It is obvious to see that Ali loves what she is doing because of the added special touches everywhere. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

As avid B&B'ers we truly appreciate when we stumble upon one as precious and lovely as this one. The beds are first class, the room was clean and the bathroom all one could need. Breakfast was wonderful and tasty. We have found our Calgary stop for any and all future trips.

This B&B is nestled in Inglewood and an easy walk to Bow River paths. It is very clean and run with attention to every detail. Breakfasts provide healthy and generous starts to your day. We stayed for 5 nights and came back for 2 more. Highly recommend you stay in this recently built, beautifully decorated B&B. Most hospitable hostess!
