A strange mix of helpful and less helpful staff! Moxies bar was very noisy but one of the staff let us use an attached conference room to meet our friends in. The business trainer then showed us to another room when he needed to use the conference room. This was great service. The bedroom was well furnished and clean. The...

We drove to the hotel from Calgary airport. Beware, you cannot use 8th Avenue to approach the hotel, it turns into a pedestrian route at about 3 St SW. You can't use 7th Avenue either as it's a tram/train and bus lane only. So use 6th Av SW, hook a left onto 8th St SW and turn left into the...

We stayed here on the first night of what was to be a two week road trip to Vancouver, unfortunately one of our cases had been lost at the Airport and so by the time we arrived at the Sandman (one case light) we weren't exactly in the holiday mood. This all changed however due to the excellent man who...

We found the hotel to be clean, reasonably priced and really close to the Calgary LRT station which connected us to almost everywhere we wanted to go in Calgary. The staff were pleasant, the room was nice a large plenty of drawer spaces and spot for hanging stuff, the bathroom was a little small (but it's not like you spend...

Centrally located, clean, reasonably priced, and within easy teach of quality restaurants (and a Tim Hortons!)...not perhaps Calgary's finest hotel, but a very good compromise. The bathroom was particularily good. Would I stay there again? Yes!

This is the second time we've stayed at the Sandman Calgary City Centre, and I've enjoyed it both times. Yes, the room was a little small, we booked a suite for four of us, and the second bed was a bed settee, but we did book quite late based on the fact that the Stampede was on, and hotel rooms...

I've stayed here a few times and this may be the last time. This hotel is very average when compared to others around here or say the new Sandman in the SE. The "queen" bed is really a double bed, and not very comfortable. Price is what drove me to book here however spending a few more of the company...

Desk, table, two chairs, and three-drawer chest: a bit crowded but it's all here-except for an 18-inch wide bar for hanging clothes (what?). In any case the clothes are clean, the not-new air conditioner is quiet and works, and the rooms seem quieter than most hotels. This hotel had a recent upgrade in bathrooms and general appearances; it's mostly successful...

Tiny room with very small bed. Noisy air conditioning unit and noise from the trams below. We were very thankful that we were only staying one night. We stayed in 8 hotels on our trip to Canada and the two sandman hotels were both very disappointing.
