The hotel was chic and morden. You need a room key to get access to the hall way. Although the room was not very big. But they have everything we needed in the right places. The toiletries were from bliss not some cheap brand. There were parkings around the building. Free breakfast was ok, though they could add some baked... More

I knew this was a W hotel property so I knew the quality that comes with that brand. But I thought, because of the price and location near the university, that it might be more of a "budget-conscious" quality. Wow, I was wrong. This is a modern, cool boutique hotel with great decor and atmosphere. Our room was well decorated... More

Spent five nights here while exploring Cowtown. I do 40-60 nights/year at SPG or IHG. While superficially great, there are too many inconveniences for the seasoned traveler to warrant more than an average score. Pros: + Chic lobby with nicely laid-out supermarket area, pool table, breakfast area & wxyz bar + Small room (3m wide x 8m deep, barely room... More

Stayed here for one night; two rooms. Very modern & sleek. Great free breakfast & additional foods for purchase. They even had an espresso machine-3.50 shot...a bit pricey. Pool table in lobby was fun for the teenagers. Ate at the bar which opens at 4:00 pm and had some great cocktails. Amaretto sour best I've ever had. Lobster ravioli, salads,... More

Awwesome breakfast including proteins and fresh fruits. Spacious and clean room. Soft and comfortable beds. Big pool and well kept fitness room. Convenient location beside C-train and a 5 minute drive to a nearby Safeway. Half an hour drive to Banff National Park.

The value for what you're spending here is absolutely incredible. This is Starwoods budget end, but I've been in Westin's that weren't as nice. The staff, especially Michelle, was amazingly helpful right from the get go and made a great effort to help a birthday celebration go well. Newly renovated with a fantastic lounge, pool, gym, pool table, free wifi,... More

Very nice modern styled hotel. We had a two queen bed room which was decent in size but became quite small when a stroller was in the room as well. The complimentary breakfast was nice and had a fair assortment of baked goods, eggs, ham, pancakes/waffles etc. Check-in/out was very easy. The only issue that we had was that when... More

Terrible terrible customer service ... The Hampton is more but worth it to not be treated like garbage. They should fire the entire front desk staff as they are incompetent and don't care!! I reserved for 2 nights and they made me have 2 separate reservations and were not helpful with any problems Do not stay here !!!!!!!!!

I am huge fan of aloft hotels and have stayed in quite a few worldwide.. they all have the same layout, which some find boring, but to me its awesome and signifies the great aloft standard!
