Easy to arrive by BRT 300 from the airport. Check in process was smooth and Allyson explained well about the property after knowing it was our first visit to Sheraton Suites Calgary.
The suite was nice and clean. It has everything we need. Also, our room was just next to the Club Lounge, which was convenient for us as well. Housekeeper politely asked if turn down service was needed and provided extra water for us. We were also surprised when a small plate of macaroons was set at the room with a welcoming note from the GM, which was a heartwarming touch for us.
The Club Lounge was another amazing piece of our stay. The design was modern and the vibe was comfortable and welcoming. The night appetizers was delicious in both nights, especially the dessert. Breakfast also had a lot of choices and weekend even has 4 hot food items. Thanks to Joyce, Katrina, Mai, Sion, Song and TG taking care us during our stay and made it like home.
Same price with all suite experience, nothing can beat this property.

My Wife and I checked out of the Sheraton Eau Claire on Saturday after three glorious weeks. It would be hard to pick which aspect of this property we liked best. From a professional check in with Celia and Jarrett to a sad check out with Yang Lu et al it was all great. First off, the location in downtown, next to the river and the park, walking distance to Chinatown and many restaurants makes it luxuriously easy. We didn't even rent a car and instead walked 80% of the time and took Ubers the rest. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with plenty of linens and amenities. Housekeeping was totally attentive and helpful...thank you Anastasia L. and the extra frig dropped off for our long stay was extremely handy. The gym is better than most hotels and is 24 hours which is useful for early risers like me. The 15th floor club lounge was a bit pricey but worth it with an excellent breakfast set up and better than average evening hors d'oeuvres. Joyce in the lounge was very helpful and professional and I only wish I took the names of all the efficient staff there. The parking/bell team was great with special thanks to Victor for his bright smile but all were truly outstanding. The front desk team answered every question about where to go, what to do and when to do it with patience and professionalism (thank you Allan, Ava, Yang Lu, Celia, and all the others whom I should have mentioned by name. I apologize to you. Lastly, Chris Smart the Asst Front Desk Manager lives up to his name and was a pleasure to deal with. A great place to stay and the only place to stay in Calgary.

Nice downtown location if that’s where you need to be. No parking at hotel unless you valet, which they were pushy about. We parked about a block away. We were in a suite with 2 queens and a sofabed in the living room area. The tub was stained dirty, toilet questionable with it’s flushing capability, carpet rumpled in the room, headboard scratched up and could use a replacement, and some of their minimal outlets did not work. Today’s traveller has a dozen things that need plugging in, I hate moving furniture to find an available working socket. Widest hotel hallways I’ve seen in recently memory, not a complaint just fascinating imo. Beds were very comfy, no sleeping complaints. We travel with our own white noise machine so no comment on if there was hallway or street noise. Elevators were quick and seemingly always available. Pool was ok, has a waterslide and a hot tub. Very noisy when busy and no staff on towel duty it seemed. We ate several times upstairs in the club lounge since we were pressured at check-in to purchase it. Breakfast was good, buffet set up seemed small but they packed a decent amount of selection into the area. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive to any needs, even when we were eating on the rooftop patio. Food at afternoon reception was also good, worth the upgrade, just wish staff hadnt been quite so pushy. We walked to the shopping mall a few blocks away with no safety concerns.

Spacious and clean suites. Some things could do with extra cleaning, but I rang the service desk and they had someone over to deal with things very quickly. Housekeeping and valet staff were very friendly, helpful and hardworking.
That was a relief after a subpar experience at the hotel entrance the night we arrived for check-in. We were surprised that we had to load our own bags and wheeled the cart to our own room for a hotel of this level (no bellhop/porter), so the first impression was not great. This to me is a major flaw in terms of guest experience right at the start, especially for folks who have had a long day travelling.
Overall, service in this hotel is really good. No fuss, they just get right to business. The pool and hot tub are really nice too. Having a suite option for hotels is really helpful. Highly recommended, especially if they can sort out the arrival experience for guests.

I stayed here two nights unexpectedly due to being stranded in Calgary resulting from the Westjet strike. I did a brief expedia search with high rated hotels downtown Calgary close to attractions and this hotel popped up quickly with a high 9/10+ rating. I saw that it was a suite and quickly booked it at 4am for checkin that day. After I booked, I called the hotel at 4am to try to request for a early check in explaining our situation. The lady on the phone was so curteous and told us that there was immediately a suite available and clean ready for us as soon as we arrive. I was so relieved to hear this as our entire family landed in Calgary at 1am to find out our connecting flight was cancelled by Westjet. We effectively slept at the airport while trying to figure things out. By the time we checked into the hotel around 7:30am, the gentleman at the lobby was outstanding. He gave us a complimentary upgrade to a corner king suite on a high floor and it made our day. Their bath and shower amentities were amazing and the whole suite was tip top clean. This unexpected stay turned a sour situation into a much more comforting stay where we could rest without any noise from the outdoors or other hotel guest. We didn't hear a sound from anyone else which allowed us to catch up on some much needed rest. Sadly, we didn't have time to use the swimming pool which even has a slide for kids, but we look forward to our next trip in town at this very hotel. Each time we ever asked for help with restaurant recommendations nearby, or attractions, or valet, we were so impressed with how prompt, polite, down to earth, with high attention to detail all the staff were. The valet service was excellent and efficient. There wasn't as single negative aspect to this hotel. It's tucked away in a quiet part of downtown, but walkable to many attractions nearby. Thank you so very much for your kindness to our family given these extenuating tough circumstances. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone staying in the Calgary area to stay at this hotel! You will not be disappointed!!

The suite was small but with two beds in the bedroom and a pull out couch, our family each has their own bed. There was a small fridge and a coffee machine, Great location, only a block from the river walk. Easy to get in and out of downtown Calgary.

Stayed here for 10 days, it was good experience, and everything went as expected. No staff would even bother you unless you are asking something from them, they would greet you with a smile from afar. The only interaction I have was during check in, check out and alternative house cleaning only.

That’s aside, what traumatized me is the billing experience with them. The booking was made under corporate credit card by my company’s provider. Many of my colleagues prefer here due to its location. But somehow, this happen to me, where the hotel charged the bill into my personal (overseas) credit card, the reason been they couldn’t get hold of my company’s provider for payment. So, they come after me for it without any notification, despite that they said my personal credit card was merely for authorization and other hotel services not included in the corporate booking.

Here is the nightmare, when realizing this and upon communication by my provider with the hotel, the hotel charges the correct payment mode and refunded the money to me. But due to overseas credit card and foreign currency exchange rate, there is deficit of USD30 that I need to top up.
 Fine, it might be small amount to the hotel, but still, it is money. So, my provider is helping to seek further refund from the hotel. The funny thing, the hotel refunded again FULL AMOUNT of my stay to me, then charged my personal credit card the same amount again. So in out in out, there is deficit of approximately USD120 that I need to pay myself. For the hotel, the amount is still the same in Canadian dollar, nothing lost at their end of course right.
 This is still unresolved, and I hope my experience can serve as a warning or alert to others.

We were only here for one night. My first time in Calgary. I’ve heard people say Canadians are the nicest people, but not until I visited the Sheraton suites Calgary did I find out that it was true. The Entire team starting from the parking attendant, to the Consierge, to room service, to cleaners etc. were unbelievably friendly, helpful and very courteous. Allan in particular at the check in desk was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and was willing to go out of his way to make our stay was a great one. I have no doubt I will revisit Calgary soon and will make sure to stay at this hotel again. Also a great location, extremely clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms, etc. Go Flames Go!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Very comfortable suite for our party of three with plenty of couch space for everyone. We enjoyed the attached restaurant Flower and Wolf that had excellent prices for different whiskeys to sample. The concierge lounge was first rate as well with very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Great Location Right down by the River, nice walking around Princess Park Great Staff Everyone was so friendly and helpful Great Food Restaurant had options for Celiac which we required. Perfect for Families WaterSlide and Pool were a nice bonus, Pool was warm so that’s always nice, Hot Tub was Nice and Hot. Only issue was showers were ice cold, but did inform staff to look into.

Yes we were able to access the Sheraton Club lounge based on status. It is a really nice lounge in terms of food options and service. There is limited seating. We were there in the summer so the patio seating added to the seating availability. We ate breakfast there every day and found the evening reception food to be delicious and enough for a light dinner.
With Marriot or Bonvoy membership, Wifi is complimentary. Free to join the membership, then sign in online and book the hotel. you will get free Wifi as well as points.
