Detailed Reviews
Simple stroll to connected domestic departures, international just a bit longer but still all connected. Makes the travel morning so much more relaxed when you are not stressing over transport to airport, parking, etc. Rooms and hallways have been recently painted, new carpet. Basic but very satisfactory in room amenities. Kids love the pool in the front lobby. Room service is like a skip the dishes delivery, either pick up your takeout style order or they bring to your room for $5 fee.

Last fall we stayed at the Marriot coming home from Mexico paying the extra for the convinience of location. It was well worth it (double the others), thus we did it again, however, I got the hotels mixed up thinking we were again the airport side of the road. Where the hotel is newer, closer and swankier!
Oh well, the Delta worked out fine. As said, in the past we have mesed around with shuttles and cabs, like a $35 fare for a 0.9 km trip?? We are done with that.
Last week found us exiting an empty airport for an overnighter for a plane to Grande Prairie in the morning.
Check in was a breeze, Michael was great. Our room albeit older, fine. Comfy King and quiet. Fearing a restuarant shutdown we found the bar open. Sat down and ordered, the ruebin for me, and a chicken sandwich for my wife, fries with mine and a salad my wife. Having just left a 9 day stint of All Inclusive, we passed on drinks, but I did notice a fine array of draft beers. Water was fine. Our meals where very good, the french fries, gastaranomicaly amazing and they arrived in no time. Not cheap, but it's the airport!
The bed had us soon sleeping like babies.
As long as these in terminal hotels can stay at just under double the price of the others, and not the, as often seen at other airports (Edmonton, Toronto)..... triple and quadrupal the price, we will be happy to .... hop, skip and jump the few feet from customs and check in.
Good job Delta!

My wife and I stayed at the Delta YYC Airport Hotel for one night before we flew out on a long trip. We used bonvoy points for the stay which was a really good price point and one of the reasons we picked it.
The entrance is easily accessible from the departures area, with a large pull through drive way area for drop off. And while it’s not “in the terminal” per se, it’s right across the road, and a literal 10 second walk to the domestic terminal.
We had the one bedroom suite which was quite large with a couch, sitting area, kitchenette area, and a large bedroom and decent sized bathroom. There are two massive TVs in the living room and bedroom. We had a nice welcome gift of cheesecake and sparkling water on our arrival.
The restaurant had good dinner, although not a ton of options and felt a bit pricy for what you get, but the quality was good. Elite breakfast was hearty and good with different options available.
The fitness facility was quite large and decently appointed but quite busy.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back if we need an airport hotel.

Not a very good experience and certainly not something I would expect by a Delta hotel by Marriott.
Front desk check in was fine and the gentleman was friendly.
Service in the restaurant in the afternoon was just OK and service for a glass of wine in the evening was terrible. Water glasses were empty constantly and the waitress only came around once in a blue moon. The restaurant and lounge were not busy by the way.
I got up to my room and after answering some emails I ordered room service.
After waiting over 40 minutes for a salad and small pizza I called back to see how much longer it would be. The person on the other end of the line said I put my order in 15 minutes ago approximately. That is absolutely impossible as I answer in email after I placed the order.
After several calls back-and-forth and a rather polite evening manager, my food was delivered… And absolutely inedible. The kale Caesar salad was not kale leaves at all - The kitchen used mixed greens that weren’t fresh. I had two bites. The pizza was undercooked and reminded me of those microwaveable things they serve at local hockey rinks.
Other than the polite staff, I highly highly highly do not recommend staying at this hotel. There are plenty of quality hotels a short cab ride away.
I travel extensively for business as well as pleasure and this was a very poor overall experience.
Room, although dated, was very clean and the bed was comfortable… Better than nothing.

Resolute Bay September 2024
Delta Hotel Calgary
Quark Expeditions launches a voyage based in Resolute Bay, Nunavut, Canada, and the expedition begins in Calgary. There's a charter flight from Calgary to Resolute Bay (via Yellowknife), so earlier this month about 170 of us were lodged at Delta Hotel's Calgary Airport, awaiting the flight out to Yellowknife. First, Delta Hotel's staff did everything right.
We had great rooms (I booked a room for the day before our departure, and staff smoothed the way for me to stay in the same room for the night that was included as part of the Quark expedition). There's a very decent bar on site, along with a small store stocking bits and drinks for those who arrive after the bar closes.
The breakfast menu offers reasonably priced mains and sides, and - if you wait until after 9:00 a.m., the bar is ready for mimosas and bloody marys. This is actually the second time I have stayed at the Delta Hotel in Calgary's air terminal. The first time, last year at about the same time, offered the same top-notch experience . . . only last time the expedition was scrubbed due to hostile weather in Resolute Bay.
Points to consider: upon arriving at the airport, you access the hotel's lobby first by looking for Door 9. At the door, cross over to where signs will direct you to the hotel via a bank of elevators. Well planned bathrooms and beds, with showers you can start without getting cold water sprayed on you. They've done away with single-use plastics - well done! And if you're traveling on a budget, you can cross back into the terminal to find (on the street side of security) a food court with Subway and A&W, along with a local chain teriyaki vendor.

This year I’ve stayed over 21 nights at various hiltons and marriotts. We did an overnight here for an early flight. This Delta has got the most comfortable bed ever. The room was renovated and beautiful. We got an upgrade to the top floor, which, many hotels are not willing to do nowadays (the excuse often is “sorry we’re fully booked for the night “). Its location across from the terminal, and not right at the terminal, allowed us to sleep through the night without hearing the planes take off. We did not use the gym or have a meal here, but the restaurant area looked really comfortable, and the lobby and common areas were well appointed. And the front desk staff were courteous. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed last night for a very short stay as we had a 7 hour layover and arrived very late. The lovely front desk lady was very friendly even though I was irritable and sleepy from 10 hours of flights that day. The room was clean and bed was so comfortable. The front desk lady set us a wake up call to ensure we didn’t miss our morning flight. The only complaint was the shower gel in the bathroom was empty, otherwise everything was great.

This hotel was great. Checkin was fast and staff were very friendly and welcoming. We received free breakfast for 2 at the restaurant for our platinum status as they don’t have a lounge. This was over $40 in savings! The food was excellent. We also found the room to be updated, clean and well laid out. While the room is small, the bed was extremely comfy and we could not hear the airport noise. The bathroom was also small but freshly remodeled with a great shower. We were very pleased and already have our next stay booked.

Normally we stay at the Marriott, but since the Delta just reopened after a major renovation, and the rate was almost $100 less than the Marriott, we decided to give it a try.
The renovations are striking, with a soaring atrium-lobby housing a lively bar and restaurant. Many of the rooms also overlook the atrium, which is kind of interesting (albeit lacking in privacy).
Our room was modern and well appointed, but the bathroom was tiny and there's very little storage. We did miss having bathrobes (available at the Marriott), but we slept well before checking out at 6AM for our flight.
I would consider staying here again, but only if the rate is at least $100 less than the Marriott.

My family stayed here for one night upon our arrival in Calgary since our flight wasn't scheduled to arrive until 10 pm and we were heading out to Banff the next day. It was a good thing that we did as our checked luggage got delayed for a day and it took a until 1130 pm until we were able to arrive at the hotel due to the paperwork involved.
The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from baggage claim. Our first impression upon check in was that it was a modern hotel with good service. We quickly checked in and then came back down to try to grab some dinner. Last call at the restaurant was at 11:45. Only a limited menu was available since the kitchen had already started cleaning up, so we ordered a burger, fish and chips, a reuben, and a salad. After a 10 minute wait, the food came out and it was really good. Everything was cooked very well, and even my wife who doesn't like salad, wanted more salad. I would rate the restaurant as a place worth visiting as a standalone restaurant.
The next morning, my kids had a complementary breakfast due to my titanium status which they enjoyed as well. My wife went down later and had the salmon and another salad which she ate every single bite of.
The hotel is also located right next to the car rental counters so it was a 2 minute walk to get our rental car when we left for Banff.
I highly recommend this airport hotel when you are in Calgary and be sure to eat at the restaurant. We're planning to stop in for a bite before our departing flight.

No they do not.
Not at the hotel itself. But it is quite easy to pop over to the airport terminal to pick up a couple.
