As a travel agent, I send all my customers there if they are taking a flight out the next day. Staff is always friendly and go out of their way to help you feel at home. This is our go to place whenever we are travelling.

I have stayed here before, and I'm happy to report that I enjoyed it just as much now as I did a year ago. The rooms were clean and comfortable just as before, and I particularly like being able to pick my own room before I got there. What a great new perk! The lobby was also spotless. The restaurant also has very good food and I make it a point to pay a little extra and have breakfast included in my room rate. It's made to order, has so many choices and is a real bargain. A big shout out to Mara and June. They were super friendly and we looked forward to seeing them in the restaurant whenever we went there. And thank you Andrew for your consistent great sense of humor every time we saw you.
Speaking of super friendly, one thing my girlfriend pointed out was the hotel environment. It seemed everyone was so happy there. Restaurant staff, front desk, housekeeping......everyone we came in contact with during each day of our stay. Your smiles and laughter always put smiles on our faces and made for a great start or end to our day. When I see that many smiling faces so consistently, it's a good testament to the environment created by management at that location. So I'd like to pat them on the back as well. You have some great people working for you and it seems you know it! I will be returning again and look forward to another great Hilton experience. Thank you.

Overall: 4.5/5

We stayed a night in early October 2022 and chose this location due to it's proximity to the airport. We weren't familiar with the traffic and didn't want to be stuck anywhere and miss our flight. We booked 1 king room through ExpediaForTD. I would book this hotel again if we visited again.

Location: 5/5
Location is pretty hard to beat, you're a few minutes away and essentially just beside the airport.

Room: 3.5/5
Room was spacious with all the usuals - mini fridge, coffee maker, desk, chairs, etc. However the thermostat/ HVAC was not working properly and the room became quite warm even as we turned the temperature down. We didn't bother calling the front desk to change rooms since we were close to other family members and we were tired and did not want to pack our stuff and move.

Cleanliness: 4/5
Everything was fairly clean.

Amenities: 4/5
There was a pool, hot tub and gym, but we didn't have time to visit. They had a water bottle filling station right behind the lobby, across from the pool which was great since you didn't have to pay for their in room water bottles. There is a free shuttle that takes you to the airport if you require a ride.

Food: 4/5
We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby and the portion was good for ~$15.

Service: 5/5
There was a $5 charge on my card afterwards for water bottles, but we never took any (water bottle filling station was right by the lobby...) Are corresponding with the hotel, they reversed the charge. Overall the experience was great even with the minor mix up.

What a great little hotel. The beds had adjustable softness or firmness and the soap/shampoo/body wash/conditioner/creams were eco-friendly attached to the wall so not wasted packaging for every night. I appreciate that effort. The pool/hot tub was lovely. As a team they provided us with a continental breakfast and club room to use. The only thing lacking in the breakfast was maybe some hard boiled eggs and access to water. We then noticed a water bottle filling station in the hall nearby on the last day. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Stayed here for a quick overnight trip because of proximity to airport. Staff were excellent. The room was nice. Breakfast was not included in our price. We had recently stayed at the other Hilton even closer to the airport where breakfast was included but this was a cheaper rate so I assume that is why it wasn't included here.

A short 10 min drive to the airport, and a competitive price to pay to leave your car here, its very convenient.

The only thing that I thought was odd was that we had no drapes in our room. There were blinds but they weren't black out/solid. There were decorative curtains. I went to the front desk and got some clips to try to pull the deocrative curtains towards each other in the middle of the window and clip them closed. Having arrived at 1 am, we wanted to sleep in (check out is 12 pm which was very appreciated) but there was no way to darken the room.

We arrived from Banff late & needed a taxi for a 3:30 AM ride to the airport. Since the shuttle service did not start until 4:00 AM the front desk staff member arranged a comped taxi for our early am pickup. It was there at 3:25 AM when we arrived in the lobby & the front desk staff had already given the driver the comp money. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the exception service & hotel!

We were here for a quick night upon landing in Calgary for a 2 week road trip around Alberta & BC. The property is clean with great service but very dated. I'm assuming that they'll renovate soon as this is probably the oldest HGI we've stayed in and we stay in a few (gold with Hilton). Bathroom was average size, bed was good but very low to the ground compared to other hotels. They were only offering burritos in a bag due to covid for breakfast so we skipped that and opted for points. Service was fantastic! I'd probably come back if I ever find myself needing a quick 1 night stay near the airport.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our hotel! You are correct in assuming we will be renovating again soon, although unfortunately this has been slightly delayed due to COVID-19. We are hoping to get everything back under way as soon as possible. We appreciate your loyalty to the Hilton family as a Hilton Honors Gold member and look forward to welcoming you back next time!

I was looking for a basic hotel near the airport for easy access to some nearby meetings and then to fly back out.

This hotel surprised me in that it was more than just basic, but I got it at a very competitive price.

The room was very nice: the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There was a fridge and microwave, which both came in handy.

I had breakfast included in my nightly rate and the offerings at the buffet should have suited anyone as there was a hot buffet, pastries, fruit, cereal and yogurt.

The staff were all very friendly.

There were several issue with this property.
1) The shuttle wasn't running, so I had to find an Uber very late at night when my delayed flight arrived. We had picked this hotel based on the shuttle service, so the extra expense was not appreciated.
2) The bed was not made. Sheets were on the bed, but they were just loosely placed on the mattress, not fitted and tucked. Are guests generally expected to make their own beds at this property?
3) No soap in the bathroom. A dispenser that has been touched by every person who has used the toilet in the past year is not a hygienic option.
4) Generally run down furniture and carpet - this property is showing its age, though several of the "newer" cost reduction trends are apparent, like the lack of soap and no clock in the room.
5) Breakfast supposedly starts at 6. When I left shortly after 6 to catch my flight, nothing had been put out on the buffet and nobody was present. Two of us who were waiting had to ask the desk clerk to get us coffee. Naturally, no breakfast foods are available in the "shop" - nothing but salty junk food. Thus, again I had to spend more money to make up for the lack of advertised service fro the hotel.

Overall, the details just aren't being handled at this property.

We had a very good stay here. Check-in was easy and service was friendly. We stayed one night before flying out the next morning to Edmonton to begin a bus tour. We had our car with us, and found it convenient to leave our car there for a charge of $9 per day.

We ate dinner at the hotel, and had breakfast the next morning. The food was fine, and again, the service was friendly and efficient.

We took the shuttle back to the airport the next morning. It leaves promptly on the hour.

My husband returned to pick up the car without any problems. They were kind enough to let him use the guest laundry at that time.

Our room was on the ground floor. We walked by the pool and peeked in, but never got a chance to use it.

We did not encounter any problems. The room was spacious and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we slept well. I have no complaints!

I’m not sure but at Calgary airport there are volunteers wearing cowboy hats that I’m sure would be happy to help you. The hotel asks that you get in touch with them after you get your luggage, then they tell you which exit to go out and which numbered pole they will come to. Takes about 15-20 minutes unless someone else has called them already. Enjoy Calgary!
