If I could rate this place a negative it would still be to good for this place. I don't understand how this chain could have their name attached to such a gross, filthy place. I've seen places on skid row that were cleaner. I actually had to go buy cleaners just so the door handles, light switches remote toilet seat basically EVERY SINGLE surface in the room, were actually touchable! It was gross! The coffee pot had an old coffee ring in if, they're was an old mouldy coffee filter in it as well. The bed had hair and food in it.
I had to ask for towels there's want any. We stayed here for 4 days and not once did they clean or ask if we needed anything. If there's any place or hotel that Covid or other diseases could be contacted... It's this place! I don't know how the health inspector hasn't shut this hole down

The hotel staff double booked my room reservation (and also 7 other customers' bookings for that day). When I got to the office, I had to wait ONE entire hour before they finally admitted the mistake that they double booked my room and gave it to someone else.
Therefore they then made me stay in a room that was not even cleaned and no housekeeping was done. This means that I had to take out the used bedsheets from the previous people that slept in the room, clear out their trash and toilet, sink hair in the tub and sink countertops.
They gave me a room that someone else had used and made me pay for the full price as if it was a totally clean room with AC!! Especially during COVID times, a customer should never be expected to do the dirty work of the hotel.
I spoke with the hotel manager (Rupesh) and he is just a sleazy shady manager. He gave me a generic random email address to contact, and after emailing him, he never responded to my emails nor attempted to offer a refund on my reservation.
I stayed in hundreds of hotels due to my travel lifestyle and this is by far the worst I have been in. Furthermore, in the one hour I was waiting to check in, I saw two other customers complain that the AC in their room didn't work and wanting to leave the hotel and get a refund. A third customer complained about a plugged sink.
There are so many problems with this hotel as it is very poorly run by a shady rude hotel manager and a bunch of hotel staff that absolutely don't care. Avoid this hotel like the plague because they'll ruin any trip you're on!

I was supposed to stay in the hotel for two nights, but I only stayed one night. The flush in the bathroom wasn’t working, so I alerted the desk clerk. I waited for two hours before someone arrived and the problem wasn't fixed. I asked for a change of room and I was told that there were no rooms available. So I used the service bathroom for the employees and I was promised a discount on the price of the second night. The next day I went to the reception to check out one night in advance and they told me that Booking.com would completely refund me for the second night. Since I had no proof of what happened the night before, I asked several times for the receipt and an email to inform Booking.com of what had happened. I have never received the receipt of my payment and after two weeks no one contacted me for the refund. Apart from that, I found hair of other guests and the card to access the room has demagnetized twice in 24 hours.

Can't believe this is a Ramada hotel in Calgary. The whole hotel is disgustingly dirty, there is old construction debris in the stairways and hallway. Do not be fooled by the free breakfast, it is a child's apple juice drink box, child's granola bar from Costco and something in a wrapper - might be banana bread. The advertising states daily room cleaning. After 2 nights and 3 days I asked about the room cleaning and was told you have to request it. The bathtub drain was clogged with hair - disgusting, but we cleaned it out ourselves in order for it to drain after a shower. The bed is a king size that is broken and sinks in the middle. The comforter had a huge stain, looked like urine. We were in Calgary for a family funeral and asked if a family member could park in the hotel lot so we could go in 1 car. I was told Ramada normally charges for that, but if I wrote a good review we could have the car park in their lot for a couple of hours. Spend a bit more and stay in a decent hotel.

my room wasn’t made . Wet towels No soap no lotion. Breakfast was included. I got ready and went for breakfast and asked where can I eat breakfast. Lady at the desk open the fridge and gave me little brown paper bag with cereal bar and small bag of milk I felt insulted, like am beggar. They delivered towels and soap at 9 pm when I complained. I asked the desk clerk if he or anyone from his family would eat that breakfast what they give in bag ? He said NO . There you are . We checked in to this place around 11:30pm and left at 8:30am we only spent 9 hours in their but it was an absolute disaster. The man at the front desk refused to give a receipt, so it started off to a terrible start. We then got to our bedroom and seen yellow stains all over the mattress along with holes throughout the drywall. To go with this they also had a musty mold smell throughout the room that was noticeable as soon as we got in their.

When we checked in the first room was on the second floor with no elevator for a handicapped person, and when we got to the room the door was wide open and room was not just filthy but had been used and not cleaned. Second room was extremely dirty including the towel. Didn’t want to really touch anything but by this time it was late and we were desperate for sleep. The front desk staff was rude and disrespectful and tried blaming us for the first room being dirty. Will never stay there again and I am a whyndam rewards member.

Would not recommend. Broken old furniture,walls ,washroom .dirty coffee maker. No tv remote. Wine bottles can seen in the lobby. Childish breakfast Costco baby juice and granola bar was offered with half muffin wrapped in cling.

profoundly disappointment and frustrated regarding our recent stay at the Ramada Limited Calgary. Unfortunately, our experience was so disheartening and distressing that we have made the difficult decision that we will never again choose to stay at a Ramada hotel.
The conditions we encountered at Ramada Limited Calgary were simply unacceptable and fell far below the basic expectations one has when staying at any lodging establishment. The state of the guest rooms, bathrooms, and the overall property cleanliness was deplorable and posed serious health and safety concerns.
Given the extent of the issues we encountered, we were unable to utilize the amenities offered by the property, including the absence of a suitable breakfast room. This lack of basic services only added to the overall disappointment of our stay.
We had hoped for a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but our time at Ramada Limited Calgary was anything but. The experience has left us with a deeply negative impression and a firm decision to seek accommodations elsewhere in the future.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Expected more from Ramada. After driving 16 hours was hoping to have a nice shower and sleep but the bathroom was disgusting and made me nervous to sleep in the bed. Should have saved the money and slept in my car
