The hotel is new and the room was big. We booked for 4 nights as we were visiting family and shopping. During our 4 night stay, our room was not serviced even once ! There was no in room housekeeping, garbage removal, towel or coffee replenishment. Nothing. The first time I asked, they said there was no housekeeping on Rememberance Day - as a stat holiday. Ok, that’s fine I thought. So the next day, when again my room wasn’t made up, I was told by a different desk agent that IHG Policy is to service rooms every 5 days. Ummmm….WHAT?!?!? Where is this advertised so we can choose to stay elsewhere ????! That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. 4 nights. No housekeeping. Totally unacceptable and I resent not being given that information at booking. Furthermore, there were about 100 kids staying in this hotel, and zero pool towels - on any of the days. Seems they put a stack out once and that’s it. Terrible service. Go somewhere else.

Stayed here two nights. Bedding smelled as though it needs cleaned. I showed the manger the sheets as you could see through them in spots. Manger said they would replace along with different pillows. Came back late in afternoon and manager did not inform housekeeeping to change bedding. I talk to house keeping and they took care of it. They were very helpful. Manager did not follow through. Front desk staff was great. Fitness center has no towels and nothing to clean equipment. Told the front desk but nothing done in my two day stay. I grabbed the breakfast area spray cleaner and did it myself.

This hotel location is close to the new highway exit. The hotel is new.

I am not sure if the hotel is trying to cut cost or at a tight budget, but I haven’t felt like everything is so short supplies in this place out of all my previous travelling experience. We have 4 guests and was only provided with 1 key card. On the second day, we requested another key card during the day and seems like that was a temporary one-time key card because that key card failed to work that night (after the first use).

We check in this hotel for two nights. The room is of good size, but the cleanliness is a bit off. I saw dust covered on countertop and workstation as I did my own sanitation. Guest room supplies were short too. 4 guests checked in and there were only two set of towels, no bath soap or shower gel (unless they expect guests to use hand soap for shower as well?). There were only 2 cold cups and 3 hot cups at the drink station with one set of condiments. I had to drop by the front desk twice on both days for various request. On top of that, the outlet in the bathroom is out of order.

Free breakfast is supposed to be the selling point here. The breakfast room was a med size and crowded with guest. There was hot breakfast station, cereal station, bakery station and cold and hot drinks stations. (Pancake station is out of order). Two days in a row, they served sausages and scramble eggs. The sausages are dry, and eggs are overcooked. Two out of three types of cereal were low stock (or nearly out of stock) on both days. Creamer was out of stock on day 1 at the hot drink station and hot water is constantly out. On day 2 I asked the server to fill the pot twice; it was in such a high demand that I didn’t even get the chance to get the hot water from first pot. They need a bigger pot as one pot probably filled 8 cups of water only. It’s disappointing here.

There was a pool with waterslide and a hot tub. You will need to bring your own shower gel or soap there. However, I am not sure how many people clean themselves before jumping into the pool or hot tub despite the sign. As we leave the premises, I saw an older kid entering the hot tub without shower!
Overall, the cleanliness is off the mark, lots of footprints on the floor in the lobby area. Cleanliness in the high traffic area should always maintained. The spill at the staircase was not attended since day 1.

The services is 50/50 as well. It really depends who serves you. You can get a friendly one sometimes.

The question is will I check back again? May be. It will depend on the future review.

The Holiday Inn chain is okay and I was arriving late and leaving early so it suited me well. If you take a cab they will pay for it which was good for I arrived well after 11PM.
The reception was good and the room was comfortable.
The complementary breakfast was okay as was expected from this chain.
Overall a good O/N stay.

The hotel is labeled as a new hotel. It's definitely a beautiful hotel. The rooms are huge which is amazing. Only suggestion would be to have some coffee tables beside the sofa beds.
When we entered the room the carpet was dirty with chocolate pieces, crumbs and other things, there was dried ice cream (what is seems like) on the office chair, the bed cover edges were like ripped, the pool area was very dirty as well with cups and other things.
Which let's me wonder what they advertise "high cleaning standard due to covid" because it should be more like "less cleaning standards due to covid".
There were no blankets for the sofa bed in BOTH of the rooms we booked.
Not sure why breakfast is still delivered in a bag versus other options like we've seen in other hotels.
Staff was very understanding and they send someone right away to clean the carpet.
Front desk lady was very nice, kind and understanding.

We arrived after 11pm on Thursday and checked in with no issues at the front desk. Immediately on accessing the room there were broken copper wires on the carpet and obvious hair and dirt on the entrance floor. The broken copper wires were an obvious injury risk that could cause serious health effects for older people or those with diabetes. The state of the floors and carpet made it clear to us that the room had not been vacuumed.

One of the beds was pulled up but quite rumpled. When we opened the sheets, there was massage oil and stains all over them. We went to reception to request a room change, and the front desk lady said she could not move us. She said we could change the sheets ourselves and provided a clean duvet cover to use as a sheet. Upon removing the sheets, old blood and other stains were evident on the mattress protector. We then noticed old stains on the bed skirts that appeared to be of bodily fluids. By this point it was after midnight and a blizzard outside so we had no option but to stay.

The bathroom had also not been cleaned as there was obvious makeup splashed on the vanity and hair and dirt all around the floor. We cleaned every touch surface in the room with our own cleaning wipes, which revealed numerous food and other stains. The desk and desk chair also had stains on them of a questionable origin and appeared to have been there for some time. Wiping around the tub and vanity with soapy washcloths turned them from white to dark grey. We did not clean the floors but rather kept our shoes on the entire time. The bath towels were also stained with old blood and rust, so we had to use the hand towels instead, as they appeared to have been laundered.

I sent an email to the front desk email address at 1.17am requesting a refund. I also spoke with the kind and helpful front desk lady, and showed her the photographs in the morning, and she indicated the manager would call me as the room standards were so clearly unacceptable. The manager, Hamid H, called the room phone around 10.45am and said he could not refund the room. He refused to come up to the room to observe the uncleanliness even after I called him back for a second conversation. We paid $145 to stay in an unhygienic room, change the bedding, and do the cleaning ourselves to make it safe to stay for a few hours.

This experience was so unpleasant that both my teenage son and I felt physically ill, and did not get barely any sleep. This hotel and the Manager should not be associated with the IHG brand.

It started on the day of arrival the hotel took 150.00 in the morning. When we arrived at 8pm the front desk lady charged us an additional 150.00 security deposit plus the room fee of 151. When I inquired about why the extra 150 before paying she said the 1st one was to guarantee the room the 2nd was security. I said we are here, so the morning 150 charge can be my security deposit and I'll pay the room fee. The lady told me that as soon as I put my card in the morning 150 will be credited back to my account. FYI it was not credited back as I was told so 1 night cost 450.00. The manager on duty Hamid told us that the money will.be credited back to the card in 3-5 business days. And there was nothing he could do.
We get to the room there is only 2 bath towels (1st time I've seen that it's usually 4). I ask for towels for the bath I recieve 2 pool towels as Hamid walks bath towels to other people. Maybe they ran out but if that's the case they need to order more.
The service was atrocious. Rooms were OK.
I travel lots for kid sports and this is the most expensive 1 night stay I have ever endured.
No apologies and what we did get, felt like a thanks for your money.
A towel in our room was stained with what looked like toothpaste and a yellow stain. Clearly the housekeeping does bare minimum. The towel was still folded so wasnt changed out. The toilet had to be flushed twice when my daughter went pee as it couldn't flush toilet paper properly. Informed front desk manager with the response I'll see what I can do. That was last night. This morning still no one has come to to deal with the toilet issue. The conditioner in our room was dove very nice. But, when pumped water came out.
We came with a group of 4 families all booked separately all charged 450 a night.
When we were checking out, was asked what card we wanted the refund for the security and we said a different card and the girl just ran it through whatever card she wanted.
One of the other parents who Informed the MOD at night that there was bodily fluids (looked like cum) on thier bed. The manager informed her that they can change the sheets themselves. WTF?!?!?
I will not be staying at this hotel chain ever again as well as I will inform.my f and f about this hotel hospitality or lack of.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were less than impressed. Room was not clean, hair behind the bathroom door , yellow spots on the towels and bathroom smelled of urine. Bed had a shoe print on the side of it and old stains visible to the comforter. Requested a new room . And while the comforters appeared clean the microwave was dirty and there was sticky drink glass residue on the bedside tsble. I opted to wipe surfaces down myself. Carpet was not vacummed well and there were popcorn kernals at the end of thr beds. But when my daughter crawled into bed she found blood on the pillow (not the pillowcase but the actual pillow. It was brought to the front desk that night and we were promised the manager would follow up. Had to ask in the am 3 times to speak with him. He promised to "pass along" our concerns to the cleaning staff and took 20.00 off the room . Ridiculous when you find actual blood in the bedding of a room that should be clean. We also noticed the pool bathroom had urine on the floor, toilet seat and tank and sink counter. We passed this along to the front desk and manager but noone seemed to care. Would never stay here again . I understand that things can get missed.. but blood ? Did they actually even change the pillow case ? And the manager did not seem to think it was a problem as evidenced by taking 20.00 off the bill and calling that a fix.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night before flying out of Calgary. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything looked new and the room had a fridge and microwave. The room I had was facing the highway, but the rooms were soundproofed really well so it didn't bother me.
The front desk stay was friendly and helpful as I was checking in.
The only thing I would mention is the hotel is in a new development and doesn't seem to have any restaurants and shops within walking distance. So if you need anything, you'll have to drive or uber.
Overall I was very happy with the hotel, and would consider staying here again.

We have stayed here a couple of times. I love it. Quick and easy check in, large, clean, comfortable rooms. The front desk staff are awesome 👌
We were missing bedding for the hide-a-bed, I called down to request some. The front desk agent was in the middle of a bunch of check ins. Less than 10 minutes later, he brought the bedding.
The lady working the front desk (morning of March 1) remembered our family, from the last time we stayed ( this past summer)

Hot breakfast is included, with sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, and fresh made pancakes. Cereal, bagels, muffins etc, all included.

Very comfortable beds, with welcoming pillows.
