A last minute flight change meant I had to use points to stay here. I’m glad I did. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 6-9am but I was a little late - one of the hosts was kind enough to let me grab some cereal. Rooms a little dated but nothing to stop me booking again!

Stayed 3 nights for business, and I picked the hotel due to the my generally good experiences with other Hampton Inns. They provide fairly consistent quality and convenience with everything included for short stays.
Check in was efficient and friendly although I tried to check in with the app, and still needed to sign in at the front desk so not quite contactless. I did pick a room at the end of the hall on the third floor to be away from any elevator noise.
Standard room, comfortable bed and decent sitting area with a good desk. Usually they have several outlets on the top of the desk for convience but this did not so had to crawl under the desk to plug in. Fridge and microwave provided although didn’t use it.
Breakfast is included, and it’s okay in a pinch but not a lot of selection and the hot food was only average quality. It’s just a step above continental, but fast and convenient with friendly staff. If you staying more than a couple days however you might end up going out for breakfast.
My main issue with this stay was the internet. First when logging in they promote their high speed version for an additional cost if you are doing a lot of streaming. While the cost is high, I do not expect to have to pay additional money for decent wifi in a hotel in 2022. The problem is the basic internet is VERY SLOW and timed out frequently. Speed averaged below 1Mbps, which is unacceptable even for anything other than email, and very basic browsing. I’ve had faster hotel internet speeds in third world countries.
I haven’t had this at other Hamptons so I do hope this isn’t the future trend to force guest to pay more for reliable fast internet.

We recently stayed at this hotel for the Canadian Ringette Championships. Charlyn (Asst Mgr) and her team were great to work with from start to finish. We had two teams and families staying at the hotel during the 9 day tournament. They opened their boardroom space for the teams to enjoy the Virtual Opening Ceremonies, which was the perfect space for the teams to show their Team Spirit and celebrate the opening of the tournament. Wendy and her team in the breakfast room were amazing each morning. Wendy welcomed the girls each morning with a smile and would get the girls pumped up for the days games. She truly made it feel like she was welcoming you into her home! The hotel was gracious enough to allow the teams to use the breakfast room for team lunches and dinners. This was just another way they showed their Calgary hospitality! The rooms were clean, the lobby area is welcoming and has coffee and tea available all day. There are a lot of restaurant options nearby (Milestones, Earls, Joey's) and quick, easy access to all parts of the city. Thanks so much Charlyn and Wendy for hosting all of us!

The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Calgary-Airport is functional but falls short in several key areas. The rooms feel quite dated, with worn-out furniture and a design that could use refreshing. Cleanliness was another issue, as the room and common areas didn’t meet the typical standards one would expect from a Hilton property, with dust and visible stains on some surfaces. Though the Covid pandemic is long over, the front desk staff member who checked me in wore a mask, spoke fast, and was extremely difficult to understand. The digital key option apparently was not working. Though the location is convenient for airport access, it seems like this hotel has seen better days and is in need of a thorough update. For the price, there are likely better options in Calgary for a comfortable stay.

We accidentally left my husband’s jacket at the hotel so I called right away as soon as we arrived at Hampton Inn Edmonton on July 28th. I called and left voicemail numerous times and even asked the help of the front desk at Hampton Inn Edmonton. They finally called me back on July 31st and I told her about the jacket and the gift card that was left inside the pocket, she told me only receipts no gift card. I couldn’t think straight because that was at least $400 worth of GC so when she mentioned about the grey hoodie I said just throw them out because all I can think of was the lost GC realizing as soon as I hung uo that the grey hoodie was a gift to my daughter. I called back right away (less than 5 mins) as soon as I realized that I instructed the person from lost and found that they can throw them out because all I care about is the kissing gift card. I called and left voice messages from July 31st until Aug 5th. The manager finally called me back on Friday and told me that she will ask the person from lost and found to call me the next day, Aug 6th. I did not get the call back that was promised on the 6th, instead she called me back today to inform Me that she threw out the jacket as soon as she hung up the phone. If only she is as fast and as diligent in answering the call, she may have received the message that I left NUMErOUS times to not throw the Jacket

We stayed there July 29, 2022. Upon check-in we were told their 3:15 am shuttle (mini van) was full with two passengers. They next shuttle was 4:45am. We needed to leave at 3:45am but they would not allow us to use their shuttle at that time, saying it was not available. They also would not pick us up from the Calgary Airport after our rental car drop off. The 3:15am shuttle returned while we waited for an Uber. The shuttle driver would not make eye contact with us when he walked past our family. I would not recommend using this hotel if you are staying primarily for shuttle service to the airport. Use the Marriott Delta, instead. It is located within the airport. The room was a little tired but clean. The AC took several hours to cool the room down.

Our shuttle service runs on a first come first serve basis and can only take a limited number of guest depending on number of luggage. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide pick up service for guest dropping off their rental car. It is no longer feasible for us to offer this due to the Calgary Airport Authority increasing our fees exponentially that we can no longer absorb the cost nor to passed on to our guest. After needing to find an unexpected hotel room because of flight delays/missed flight, we were able to book a room and arrive after midnight from the airport (about a 15 minute drive). The room was on the main floor and had 2 queen beds. Check in was easy, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel also had a free airport shuttle that we used the next day. This was an overall pleasant experience and we were very grateful that they had room availability for us at the last minute.

We had a pleasant stay at this Hampton Inn near the airport. No issues with noise. Easy to find location with plenty of free parking. The free hot breakfast was what we expected. The breakfast area was unusually warm (compared to the lobby). The room was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out was easy. The pool was closed due to the water restrictions in Calgary. However, I'm sure that will change once the city fixes the water pipes this coming week (before The Stampede). No issues with water in the rest of the hotel.

This hotel is a very nice place to stay. Rooms are well appointed and very quiet. Wifi worked well. The breakfast included some hot dishes as well as make-it-yourself waffle station. There was plenty of parking available. Several restaurants are close by and within walking distance.

This is a great hotel! The properly is clean, quiet and conveniently located. Ample parking at all times of the day. Staff were welcoming and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Our king jacuzzi suite was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There is a coffee and water station just off the lobby that is available to guests 24/7. Breakfast was however, only alright. Selection was on the slim side and seating was limited. Overall, great value and we would stay again!

It is safe to say it's the usual Hampton Inn offering, scrambled eggs, sausage patty or bacon, sometimes potatoes plus belgian waffles, cereals, bread/bagels/muffins, and the usual juices.
Some Hamptons change it up a bit, but its the normal and reliable offering

The "park stay go" rate where you can stay 1 night and park up to 7 days is $139 CAD at this Hampton, about $30 more per night (at todays rate). The other hotel I know of that does this, The Hilton Garden Inn right down the road calls it "park and jet" for $134 CAD. Shuttle at Hampton runs when needed, you have to call from the Airport - FYI, there are no phones outside, you need to call from a courtesy phone inside both terminals, but the call is free. I've stayed at both hotels, I liked Hampton better plus its South most close to the city and shopping, etc..
I believe breakfast starts around 5:30-6:00 a.m. and goes until 10:00 a.m. Good selection and a nice comfortable seating area. Hope this is helpful. Cheers. Pamela
