Vacationed with family from Montana, United States. We spent two nights at the Calgary West Campground. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The shower houses were very clean, and we all enjoyed having hot showers. The campsites seem very well maintained. The wifi was a huge plus.

Great place to stop, shower, sleep and rest up on a journey to the western side of Canada and Alaska. Clean facilities, nice showers and easy navigation within park. Will keep them on our must remember list. Friendly staff! The cost of the nightly rental is very reasonable, close to the main highway and just outside the city limits.

This is our second stay. I must say this visit wasn't as good as the previous visit. First only one toilet block was open!! The pool had been drained so couldn't use that even though it was very hot. Also we asked if we could park our car in the next vacant pitch but was told NO even though it...

Stayed for a few nights while traveling through to penticton. The campground itself is clean and well kept. Can't say much for the washrooms or showers since we just used our on board facilities. Staff were friendly and would stay again

W stayed here for 3 nights in July 2016 to visit the Stampede. It is a 15 minute drive from the Stampede and the downtown area, and they do have one or two special buses running direct from the campground to the Stampede if needed. The sites are only gravel, not concrete, and if it is raining it gets slushy....

Possible to visit Calgary downtown by bus from the Olympic village (5 min walk from the campsite). Camping is good, places are rather small, pool is good, showers are good and free. Wifi is poor, free but completely useless!

Not so very special. We choose it only because it's near Calgary. Atmosphere is OK, but not more than that. Wash rooms and showers are clean. Unfortunately, there are no fire pits at the sites. Small swimming pool is ok.

Campground is ok. The tent sites are pretty small but grassy with a semi-covered picnic table. This place has a pool, showers and laundry facilities. It is rather outdated. The showers were kind of gross. They seemed grimy and in a poor state of repair. The "free" wi-fi is terrible. We occasionally had to quickly grab something in the camp...

WE booked this place for a few days in July, 2016 to visit family. It sells itself as kind of an up scale place but the management isn't. The WIFI, if that matters to you, is useless and just frustrating. The spots are very close together. We were told we had to leave earlier than the agreement said by 2...

All of the roads are gravel and had many ruts. Sites are not level. All of the picnic tables we saw (including ours) were on hills...none were level. The tent areas were nice, all with a stationary, covered picnic table. There's plenty for kids to do...a heated pool, miniature golf. Location is next to the 1988 Olympic ski-jumping, luge and...
