My stay at the Hampton Inn was short and sweet. My flight got cancelled and WestJet booked me in this hotel. The free shuttle was a phone call away and picked me up within 20 min at gate 4 arrivals lot# 16. Check in was smooth. I asked for a quiet room on the top floor away from noise but the attendant was not able to accommodate my request. He gave me room 9007 beside a room with a constant loud barking dog! Yes,this hotel is pet friendly. I immediately returned downstairs and asked to change and this time he was able to accommodate me and give me a gorgeous room on floor 10 in 1007. Although I was told there were no microwaves in the rooms, this room had one as well as a fridge and coffee maker. My bed was super comfortable and the bedsheets and pillows smelled very clean. The room was not impeccably clean but for an overnight stay it was ok. I did not get to use the 24h gym as I was too tired. Coffee and tea was available in the lobby 24/7. They had my favourite Earl Grey tea! Breakfast was exceptional as they offered a variety of healthy options such as plain oatmeal, boiled eggs, whole wheat bagels, bananas and apples. I was impressed with this hotel. The only down part is the location. No stores or anything around but I would still highly recommend.

Our rooms were clean. Location was convenient for our Banff itinerary. We stayed here upon arrival and departure of our flights. Their complimentary airport shuttle is convenient. They can add more meat choices for their breakfast spread.

Stayed here twice in January while coming and going from my winter escape. The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable both times. The staff were courteous. This hotel is convenient to the airport and offers a free shuttle. The morning breakfast selection is a little limited, and the evening prices are a bit high, but they have a captive audience, so I guess they charge what they want. The surprising part was the condition of the carpet in the 5th floor hallways.( I don't know about the other floors, I was on the 5th floor both times.) That carpet is disgustingly dirty, I also suggest that when they replace it, they find a carpet that isn't almost impossible to move your rolling suitcase on. I would also like to mention on my trip out I tried going for a swim so I would sleep better and the pool was freezing. Not only my opinion, I was warned by other guests before I climbed in. They were right, I'm surprised there weren't ice cubes around the edge. Jumped out and thought, "I'll just sit in the hot tub." Well, it wasn't anywhere near hot. Good thing the room had a great shower to warm me up.

Room Tip:Â Stick your tie in that pool before jumping in. It's hard to warm up after a very cold dip.

The biggest problem with this hotel is that they are clearly overworked and understaffed. We’ve stayed in this hotel 3 times now and all three times it’s been incredibly busy. I highly highly suggest going for the app and digital key. There is always a late night line from the airports with very limited staff available. They offer a free shuttle which sounds great but all three times we have used it there were reallllly long wait times and they often do NOT answer their phones. I even had the staff pick up the phone and hang it up! It’s run very inefficiently. It’s such a shame because they are so close to the airport you would think it would be great, it’s not!!! I called for their large shuttle and they showed up with a small van and a person already inside. Which meant we had to wait longer as we couldn’t all fit. We averaged a 40min+ wait the three times we used it as a family of 5. We have been on floor 3,4 and 7 and all three times the amenities were empty. I would be showering only to find no shampoo in shower. Or no conditioner on the next trip. There clearly needs to be more staff. On our August 6th stay there was zero pool towels for hours. I asked so many different people for towels. I ended up going up to our hotel room and bringing those down. And a final heads up Our latest and last stay on Aug 19th we went down to breakfast and the line was extremely long. Breakfast Food was consistently good but if you had a flight to catch I would factor in a busy lounge. We paid over just under $300 a night, in the future we will look for somewhere else. At that price there should be a better level of service.

We generally prefer Hampton hotels. The shuttle from the airport started our stay off poorly. We called for the shuttle and were told it was already on the way. 30 minutes later we called and were told it was 5-10 minutes away. Several similar phone calls occurred and several similar responses. After an hour the shuttle arrived. Keep in mind the hotel is 5 minutes from the airport. The hotel is new and in decent shape. Breakfast was ok but not as varied of a selection as we are used to from Hampton. The gym and pool were nice. There was a large brown stain on the carpet in our room and a dirty wash cloth left on the curtain rod. Overall not what we have come to expect from Hampton and we were there during the Stampede so the room costs were ridiculously inflated. The shuttle back to the airport was on time and with a different driver, who was very friendly

Worst check in experience at a Hampton I have had. Long line, single front desk person fielding calls about where the airport shuttle has gotten to. Out of water ( out of water?) Strange room layout that includes a small refrigerator plopped on the floor in the entryway and no microwave. Will not stay here again and am weighing future stays at Hampton Inns against the obscene prices some of them are charging

Incredible staff! When our family wedding party was evacuated due to wildfires we had to head to Calgary. This hotel was able to quickly ready 12 rooms for early arrival, upgraded the bride and groom and even provided an area for all the wedding guests to gather and celebrate together that evening. They helped change a bad situation into a pleasant one! So much appreciated! Special thanks to Tracey at the front desk!

If you are looking for a very short drive to/from the airport, this is it. The rooms are up to date, with very clean and big showers. Beds are very comfortable. Ive stayed multiple times in the past and its always pleasant to be here.
Hotel offers shuttles to airport and long term parking for a fee which is convenient and much cheaper than paying for airport parking.

Arrived for check-in just afte 3 pm. Were told one of the connected rooms was not ready. Waited for half an hour. Went to check and the housekeeper had finished the room. Went to front desk and was told the room wasn't ready. Talked to another housekeeper who said it just needed pillowcases. Waited 15 minutes. Went back to the desk and was told they were just getting keys. Back in the room received a phone call that it would be another half an hour before the room was ready. Then someone came up with the keys and told us the room had been ready the whole time. Wendy the housekeeping manager came up later to apologize but basically blamed staff miscommunication.
One of the rooms (1012) didn't have A/C working properly ( even though we reported the issue. The other room has a broken curtain with a trailing cord that is very dangerous for small children (serious choking hazard). The staff did nothing extra to check on the status of the rooms after we reported it and neither issue was fixed.

Stay here was amazing! Shuttle bus provided to and fro from YYC airport. Our driver's name was Bobby and he was very helpful and friendly! Hotel stay included a buffet breakfast with quite a wide spread. Also one thing that really impressed me was that there had free sanitary pads / tampons in the ladies washroom. Extremely good service and clean rooms throughout our stay!
