Older style motel with basic facilities but quiet, easy parking right outside the room. A few decent dinner options within walking distance. Area seemed relatively safe at night, we were there on a Saturday night. No kettle in the room but we were able to borrow one from

The room is old and need renovation. The heater was not strong enough. Luckily, staffs were very kind and helpful, she gave me a heater fan. The price is good value for money. Breakfast is simple but ok for the price.

Thank you for the feedback. We are an older property and are very dated. We do have very high cleaning standards. We appreciate your business and we thank you for your comments. We will be closing at the end of the month for re-development in the area there will be many changes in the area over the next few years.

I've stayed here before as it's consistently clean and reliable. The staff is always friendly, and it's a central location for Calgary. From here, I have access to Crowchild trail as well as 16th Ave and it's a quick jump to the Deerfoot. It's a no frills place but that's all

Challenging flight of stairs for older [and overweight] folks; nice staff helped us move second day. Rooms not well designed for more than one person to move about the room at the same time. Decent table to sit at, good since breakfast room was too crowded and uncomfortable

I am glad we were able to move you on your second night. Being an older property our breakfast area is very small.

I assume you are inquiring how long it takes you to get to Stampede Park from our location. We are about a 20 minute LRT (Light Rail Transit) ride from the motel to the grounds and a 5 minute walk to the train station. It is very easy to navigate and you only need to ride one train. The train is the best and easiest way to get there. There are lots of people around going exactly the same place you are and you will have no problem. If you are referring to getting to the motel from the airport to our motel it is very easy with a rental car (20-25 min). Taxi service is also available. There is also bus and Ctrain available, a little less convenient especially with luggage. Hope to see you on your future trip to Calgary.

"Rooms are technically non-smoking, but people stand just outside the rooms and smoke, so it reaches your room if you have a downstairs room."
"there is option for the ground level for accessibility. Staff is friendly accommodating."
"Request rooms away from the boilers"
"If you are bothered by noise overhead, ask for the 2nd level. One night people were walking up and down the room over us for 2 or 3 hours."
"Rooms on second floor are only accessible by stairs (about 20)"
