The shuttle was on time and was clean. Ilona that shuttle driver was very friendly and professional. The rooms are clean the beds are comfy, the restaurant service is fast and the food is exceptional. Chicken was very smooth and the gentleman behind the counter was knowledgeable and professional.

Absolutely stellar experience at Hotel Clique Calgary Airport! From the moment we were picked up by the shuttle driver Lucky, who was incredibly friendly and punctual, to the spotless condition of the bus, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Our check-in experience with Bruno was a highlight. After a long day of flight delays and airline issues, Bruno went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met, making our short stay so comfortable.
The restaurant's food was phenomenal—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The wait staff worked seamlessly together, providing a world-class dining experience that was both attentive and efficient. The level of service and quality at Hotel Clique made us almost wish we were staying longer and not heading to Las Vegas. Highly recommend this gem for anyone needing a place to stay near Calgary Airport!

We booked this hotel last minute after having a long day of travel. We had done the park and stay package at the Applause by Clique before we departed on this trip. It was 9pm when I called and they were more than happy to accommodate us and offer us the lower rate because our car was still there from before our travels. Room was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a large soaker tub and bath salt amenities. The shower has a great rain showerhead with lots of water pressure. Had breakfast in the onsite restaurant the next morning and it was very good.

For a "premium hotel," this was very disappointing. The only thing premium was the pricing of the food, thirty bucks for a limp salad with so much garlic it would kill a buzzard on a sh*t wagon, and FIVE DOLLARS for little container of grapes. You've got to be kidding. The shower is very poorly designed- some fool decided to have all kinds of spray in all kinds of directions, which means that whoever cleans the shower has to make sure that the sprayers do NOT point out the shower door (they did, and covered the bathroom floor with water). That's a fall hazard. The design makes zero sense and I'm sure it's touted as oh-so-cool. No, it's ridiculous. You don't need extra water shooting at your lower extremities, which means that if you lean over you get blasted in the face. When you step out you land in a huge puddle of water on a slick floor. Whose bright idea was this? Can't you train your housekeeping staff to make sure that all those expensive vertical sprayers are aimed to stay INSIDE the shower so that the unsuspecting client doesn't make that error, especially if they land at the hotel exhausted after a horrendously long day of travel? There's nothing relaxing or luxurious about stepping out of the shower onto a floor covered in cold water, with all the towels on the other side of the bathroom. For older travelers with poor eyesight that is a terrible accident waiting to happen.
Bad design, overpriced. However this: the young lady trying very hard to get me decent food was lovely, and deserves a thanks. I will not stay here again, nor will I seek this hotel brand out again. Failures at muliple levels in the ridiculous search for doing something special and luxurious without considering the actual client, their physical safety and basic common sense.
And by the way, when your towels start shredding, it's time to put them to use as rags. If you want people to see this brand as high end, you don't keep circulating aging, stringy towels in full service after they have aged past their lifespan.

We're occasional visitors to Calgary, so have tried many of the airport hotels over the years. Finding Hotel Clique and their neighbouring Applause Hotel topping the Trip Advisor rankings for Calgary, we thought we'd give the Hotel Clique a go when we flew in from the UK.
Firstly, the hotel is in a convenient spot, a few minutes from the airport, and we got a friendly welcome. The parking pass as mentioned by other reviews is a bit unusual, but really not a problem. The room was a good size and well equipped, and the beds were comfortable too. It was also great to be able to get takeout food from the hotel restaurant.
However what we didn't get is a restful sleep. Like many hotels the Clique has individual air conditioners in each room, and the one on our room clearly needed servicing. When the air conditioner came on, alongside the expected noises we had a continual grinding noise, so in the end we shut off the air conditioning completely and put up with the warm room.
The other problem was the free Wifi. We hooked up to the Wifi with our phones and the kids iPads, but the speed wasn't great and the devices kept dropping off, so I dug out my laptop and ran the Wifi scanner - that quickly showed the problem, loads and loads of LEDnet Wifi networks clogging up up the 2.4Ghz band, with the Clique Guest network with a comparatively low power signal. I'm guessing all of these LEDnet networks were the LED lights under each bed that turn up in all the pictures, which are a nice gimmick, but at the expense of usable WiFi really are a waste of time.
In summary, as a hotel it's not a bad option for a convenient airport hotel in terms of location, and if you get a quiet air conditioner, you'll probably get a decent nights sleep too. However whilst I appreciate the hotel is trying to make themselves distinctive with gimmicks like the under bed LED lights, don't let the gimmicks ruin the basics like usable Wifi.

OMG Hotel Clique provided services that were consistently above normal acceptable standards. From the moment we arrived. Jeryll greeted us with warmth and freshness. She even asked us what floor we preferred to be on. Brittany in the restaurant was the exact same way. Nancy who joined the busy Bar staff was also the same. I felt the restaurant food and drinks were fair priced. All round friendly cheerful staff who want nothing but to please. The view from the bar was breathtaking. Finally I would like to mention the dark haired lady who picked us up from the airport.(shuttle bus driver) She was on time and in the exact location we were told she would be. When we boarded, she offered us ice cold water, which was very refreshing and welcoming because it had been a hot day. Finally the most important part the room. Our room had everything we could have asked for. Modern, clean and welcoming to include Mood lights. The shampoos and conditioner had a glorious scent to them. My wife and I who have traveled extensively all over the world would have no hesitation giving this hotel Clique a strong 10/10. How are you able to achieve this is mystifying. Congratulations to management and staff. As we return to Phoenix we want to say thank you to the wonderful friendly people of Canada.

Our priorities are quiet and comfort; Hotel Clique was perfect on both counts.
This was our second stay at the hotel and this time we only planned to stay one night; we ended up extending our stay by four nights with no regrets. The extension process was at least as easy as the check-in process.
Our room had two Queen beds and was very spacious. I had fun playing with the coloured LEDs around each bed, and I appreciated the shower and bathing options.
The Tonic restaurant can be a bit pricey so we chose to have our evening meals at the Ace Casino next door. Tonic is a good restaurant, however; the poutine was very decent and the half Caesar salad was tasty.

I’ve stayed at the Clique (or in their Applause wing) quite a few times now. The stays have always been good, with spacious comfortable rooms and the great convenience of the hotels position close to the major freeways of Calgary, though far enough away not to be bothered by traffic noise. The staff are helpful and pleasant and the Tonic “diner” a good place for a quick tasty meal. This time, all of those pluses applied, but there was a less pleasant experience after I checked out. I paid the bill - for the amount stated one my booking - and got a receipt for that amount, but discovered when I checked my credit card statement that they had charged an extra $90+ CDN on top of that. I did not have any extras - and the hotel has not replied to any of 3 emails i sent them querying the extra. Not good enough. Clique!

We have stayed at the Clique Hotel for years, often multiple times per year. After our experience on October 21st, it will be our last. In the past we’ve had to wait quite awhile for our shuttle pick up, but we understood that things happen and they can’t always arrive when they say they will. After the third time, it’s become a bit much. That isn’t why we’re not going back. We’ve had issues with the under the bed lighting coming on in the middle of the night. That was an easy fix, but something we could’ve been made aware of at check in, but that isn’t why we won’t be returning either. We won’t be returning because after a long flight, then and extended wait for our shuttle all we wanted to do was get some sleep. After turning in for the night the tv turned on, not once, not twice, but 3 TIMES in the middle of the night. The last time we unplugged every thing connecting to the tv to prevent it from happening again. When it was brought up at checkout we weren’t offered a discount, a refund, NOTHING! We won’t be back.

I didn’t use the hot tub but it’s on the roof outside and is pretty cool. With the Covid restrictions I’m not sure it’s still open. You’ll have to check with the hotel.
The rooftop hot pool closed every night at midnight.
We did not eat at the restaurant; therefore, cannot respond to the menu options.
My suggestion is call the toll free number and ask directly. They are very friendly, helpful and readily available.
