It's my second stay here, they do a good job. Rosemary is the best! I would def stay here again :) The hotel is cozy and quiet. Location is accessible by bus and transit, there's a 7 eleven down the street )a block away), ample parking if you have a car. 5 star service and I appreciate it. I will stay here again

Stayed there for 3 consecutive nights. The room was clean, but not soundproofing as we could continue to hear the dogs' barking from the rooms on the same floor. While the bathroom was dark even with all the lights on, the walk-in shower was small and quite slippery, which was a safety hazard especially to young children. I wish the room could consist of additional luggage racks, as there was no other space available in the room for additional pieces of luggage to be placed flat. Staff was friendly and easily accessible. Hot breakfast was OK. Free covered parking.

Days Inn is the only place we stay at when in Calgary. With COVID-19 they only have a bag breakfast, muffin, granola bar, juicebox. It would be nice if they gave a gift card to Tim Horton, so you could have a warm breakfast

I don’t know who they’re paying to write reviews for this place but it’s definitely NOT a 4.0. We were very disappointed upon arriving at this hotel!
Cons:
✖️The lobby is tiny.
✖️As soon as we got to the 3rd floor, you could smell something awful.
✖️We opened our room and there was a completely different smell that was even worse. All of our clothing came home smelling awful and we had to wash everything including the clothing that we didn’t wear and the duffel bags.
✖️ The carpet and chair in our room were very stained to the point that I wouldn’t walk bare feet on the carpet
✖️ The vent on the bathroom ceiling just randomly fell off
✖️The gym is very small. In fact, they emptied out one room on the 3rd floor and made it into a gym with very little equipment.
✖️ The buffet is on the second floor which is weird but it makes sense after you see how tiny the lobby is. We did not want to eat there.
✖️ The air conditioner is mounted so high on the wall that it’s literally blowing in your face while you’re sleeping and it was rattling like crazy.

Pros:
✔️ The beds were clean
✔️ Decent location

The parking lot is too tight. Hard to get into the spots. The A/C hardly had any output. The room was so warm. I
approached staff about this thinking the machine was broken, they replied, "Yeah, that's how it runs" they werent very helpful. The continental breakfast might have been good if the staff member followed FOOD SAFETY protocols. First day I ate there I felt satisfied. The second day I witnessed the staff member handling garbage with gloved hands, taking some out plates, food and etc and putting it into another garbage can. Without changing her gloves, she proceeds to grab new coffee lids, cups condiments from cupboard and places them in the holder. She then takes the tray of bagels, croissants and muffins(which are all cut in halves, yep think about that for a second) and refills the tray. Aqain handles food with the already garbage covered gloves. Then cleans tables. This is when I stopped eating and drinking the cofee in the breakfast room and got my own groceries. On another note I asked for my room to be cleaned on a specific day, only to come back after a day out to find it not done. Horrible I will be contacting management.

This is a decent hotel, however if you are a scent sensitive person, the air freshener being used in the lobby and in the very small elevators will be a problem for you. It is a very strong floral scent, that is not pleasant. It is for this reason, that I would never book this hotel again. Indoor air pollution is becoming a real problem.

The included breakfast was decent, the staff were great,. Our floor ( the third floor) was quite noisy especially with an adjoining door to the next room and a loud group in it. The staff were very responsive to the request to deal with the noise.

Even with a discount, at $200/night we did not get what we paid for. The hotel is dingy and old. The carpet in our room was filthy, especially on the edges, worn out, and should be replaced. There were greasy stains in all the drawers. The beds were comfortable and the updated bathroom and shower were quite nice, but it lacked a fan. We couldn't book in early unless we paid an additional $25. When we asked to use the bathroom we were told to go to the (also filthy) 7/11 down the street. Otherwise, Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The walls are thin so we could hear our neighbours clearly. Breakfast was okay but the room small and crowded. We had expected a nice place but were quite disappointed and felt ripped off. Will never stay there again.

We only stayed one night here after a late flight arriving into Calgary, but we had such a positive experience. Free WiFi, comfy bed, clean, and a great complimentary breakfast. Couldn't fault our stay at all and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! Have to mention Anne, in the morning when we checked out she provided us with a fantastic print out of maps for Banff and Jasper and included recommendations of things to see and places to eat at. We followed a few of her recommendations and they were fantastic - she also advised we take Highway 1a instead of Highway 1 and we are so pleased we did as the views were spectacular. Would definitely stay here again, fantastic value all round.

Never recommend to stay in this hotel. The alley is tight. The Wi-Fi was super slow, sometime never work. They don't clean rooms everyday, only on alternate days on request basis. They were only provided exactly same donut, sugar bar and 25% sugar drink every day in the breakfast, No other option. The parking lot is super tight and hard to find parking spot in evening.

Unfortunately we found hair in the tub and in our bed. Otherwise the room seemed clean but finding the hair was disconcerting. The room was quite loud at night with traffic noise from the street and we could hear people walking and talking in the hallway. The breakfast was very disappointing. When we arrived there was no fruit. The only options for bread, pastries and cereal were all unhealthy/processed foods. Would have liked to see some multigrain options and dairy free milks. Otherwise the staff was friendly and check in and check out were both easy and quick.

Hello and welcome to Canada. The Continental Breakfast varies it's start time from weekdays to weekends. The staff at the Days Inn are quite accommodating. The travel time between your hotel and the Banff Park Gates is1 hour and 30 minutes. Typically there is not a significant wait time at the gates as those who drive through to BC drive through a separate lane. So breakfast starts @ 6:00 am will allow plenty of time to spend a good day in Banff.

It is a bit out of the way for the Stampede Grounds but I`m sure transport would be manageable. Either way we found the staff to be very good at this facility during our visit,,,,Good Luck
