A great urban hostel located right near the action in Edmonton’s historic Old Strathcona area, including Whyte Avenue, the coolest spot for shopping, pubbing, clubbing, live music, live theatre, improv, comedy, indie films, and the Saturday year-round Farmers' Market. Only a few blocks from the beautiful River Valley with its relaxing hiking and biking trail system & we rent bikes. Our private courtyard is complete with BBQ and picnic tables.

Placed in a residential street it is in a quiet location. Our reception was pleasant and check-in was quick. The double room we had was quite a small rectangular box with a sink. The bed has a small double mattress below a single bunk bed above. There is a fan for the heat. It

Thanks for your comments. I'm pleased you found the hostel clean and liked our location. The building was previously a convent, so we try and do the best we can with the layout and dimensions provided. The entire hostel was recently renovated, but we are still waiting on new artwork. Greg, Manager

Thanks for your comments. I'm pleased you really liked our renovations, staff, cleanliness, and amenities. We do have a bed light on each bunk-bed, so we'll check to see where one is missing. We're located in Old Strathcona - the most popular neighbourhood in the city for arts and entertainment. We're very close to the river valley trails, and less than a 10 minute bus ride downtown. Clean place with friendly staff and great location right next to Whyte Ave which is great to go out, but the place does not have any charm. Everything you need is close by but the hostel has no vibe which is a little bit sad. They accommodate shows every now and then but that

I believe this place is run by someone who really knows what a backpacker really needs. The facility is so neat. I stayed in one of the dorms for 8 people and it was so spacious, beds are wide and sturdy. Customer service is excellent. I truly enjoyed my stay. The lounge was

Me and my sister stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover on our way to Jasper. I have only ever stayed in a hostel once before and this completely exceeded our expectations. The hostel is located in an old part of Edmonton called Old Strathcona and there are plenty of nice
