It's in a dingy neighborhood, but it was cheap and clean, The cleaning ladies are great. We stayed for almost three weeks. Our first room was not renovated and I did not especially like it. They moved us the next day as we had our 18 month old daughter with us and I needed to use the stroller, Our new room (120) was renovated and really quite nice. It had a kitchenette and bar fridge. Being it is in a sketchy area of town, and I had my child with me, I was very concerned with the cleanliness. It was very clean. The staff were also really nice. There are lots of channels on the television, and it had super fast wifi. I think my favourite thing about the room was the AC!~ It was really hot when we were there. If it wasn't for the city of Edmonton slacking on the cleanliness of the parks in that area, and the fact my husband was working 2.5 hours away, I would have stayed there until the end of his contract.

Looks a bit run-down from the outside, but the interior was clean, everything worked, and the room was HUGE. Cleaning staff to be commended. Got a weekly kitchenette. Weekly price: very reasonable for Edmonton; saved enough by not going to the chains that I could rent a small car and still save money. Reasonably quiet. People said the neighborhood was rough, but I live in Detroit, so that's relative. WiFi worked wonderfully, cable was Groceries, library, Tim Horton, bus lines, family restaurants, drug stores, Wal-mart all within a few blocks. Would absolutely go there again. Only fear about recommending it is that it will be booked up when I need it. Lots of working people stay there. NO REFUNDS. Had to leave four days into my second week, but still saved a few pennies over the chain motel.

I stayed here for the first time, met up with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while. The reviews I've seen so far are not 100 % accurate, room was clean, fairly quite, being on a busy main street, close to a couple of restaurant, and close to main highway out of town. The Beverly district was a rough neighborhood when I was growing up in Edmonton, but seems to cleaned up well, only complaint was with the Tim Horton's down the street, guess Large Black coffee is too hard for them to understand. lady behind the counter was friendly as was the lady in the morning, upon checking out, good value.

My boyfriend and I ended up staying here because he is working in town, the prices are super cheap and the rooms have a kitchenette in them. We had been paying weekly for over a month when one day the staff came to the room and told us to get out, that our week was over and they had given our room to someone else. We told them they were wrong, our week was up the following day, and the staff told us WE were wrong and that they weren't going to argue with us. We got our receipt and showed them the date (which was the following day) and she STILL said we were wrong, went to the office and got a different receipt with a different day on it, that she had obviously changed. We then ask to be moved to a different room and she tells us they are fully booked! On our way out while we were packing we overheard someone else saying the exact same thing, he had been kicked out a day early also. What a joke, the staff wouldn't even discuss it with us, just kept insisting they were right (believe me they weren't).
The hotel was full of people working nearby, I wonder how many they have scammed out of a day when they do the weekly rate?
The place is a dump anyways, and in a terrible part of town. AVOID!!! The cheap price isn't worth it.

I pre-booked this motel ahead of time and got promised special price. A week prior to the arrival I did call owner to confirmed again, he said: "Don't worry, I will give you better room for the same price". On the day of arrival we were shocked: "promised" room is gone, we had to check into the small dirty room facing very busy street, no rest. Staff in this motel has no respect for the customers and treating you as a thief, and you will run away without paying. Actually they right, because when you see what you got in, you might decide to do so. I never in my life have seen anything like this: reception swear at my wife using profanity, we packed our bags and left, because talking to the owner who has no idea how to run business, and hiring cheap labor people to "serve" clients, there is no point, just waist of time. I strongly suggest never even consider this "motel". If you planing come for work to Edmonton.

This place ain't good, but it's good enough. It is almost as cheap as they come. This place can be afforded on a single hotel allowance. But the jockey has 2 -3 bed rooms, and if you bunk up with your buds, you can take the change all the way to the bank. There are kitchenettes. The decor is so dated that I think my parents would have a hard time remembering the style. But it's clean. Staff is friendly. Neighborhood isn't the best and the parking lot security is non-existent, so make sure alarm is on, and really go check if it goes off.

Goofy dated dirty little motel with poor or missing staff. Bring Lysol and your own cleaning materials. The no smoking rooms stink of more than smoke. If I cleaned the carpets I might get a pound of dirt out of it. There are better hotels in the area. Parking lots not patrolled and a guy was working on his truck until the wee hours. No sleep that night. Linen stink.

Cheap to stay, Weekly and monthly rates. The room was clean, the sheets were clean although they could use some new towels. I stayed here a few times over the last few years, and heard the neighborhood was bad but I never had a problem. Its close to the highway and groceries, Its a good place to stay If your in town for bit. I would stay again. Its no Hilton but I'd you want to save some money its good.
