This is a nice clean hotel. The lounge and restaurant are pricey but not too expensive for a hotel, close to restaurants and the new Arena. There is a Municipal golf course fairly close by. I would come back.

First impressions of the hotel were pleasant, the desk clerk that checked me in was very nice and professional, the lobby looks very nice, and check in was smooth (even allowing me in early). Upon entry to the room, I noticed that it was dated and the furniture was very worn out (smudges/scratches on the headboard, discoloured tiles in the...

The best I can say is that the staff were quite nice and helpful. That said, I've stayed in many hotels in downtown Edmonton, on business and while visiting friends, and Chateau Lacombe was the worst by a country mile. To say the hotel is overrated, outdated, and totally overpriced is an understatement. To give it one star, is generous...

We celebrated our wedding anniversary had a lovely time. The rooms were fabulous, the staff treated us like royalty. We had a catered dinner which was excellent. I can highly recommend the hotel. We had 30 guests many of whom stayed at the hotel all enjoyed the event and the stay.

If you are lucky enough to get the right room you have an excellent view of the river valley. If not, the revolving restaurant atop the hotel will give you this view. Even the "underground" parking has a view along one side because it's built into the side of the valley wall. The service was also excellent. I had a...

Nice clean room, professional hotel. The room does not have a small fridge or microwave, so if you're in on business, plan on eating out a lot. The restaurant in the hotel is somewhat pricey. Stay in doors after dark, the neighbourhood, despite being downtown, lacks the safety aspect of things. They don't tell you ahead of time, but parking...

I've stayed at the Chateau Lacombe on a regular basis for about 5 years. I've never been disappointed. The rooms are a good size, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Parking is convenient, reasonably priced for downtown, and hotel guests get preferential parking. Room rates can vary depending on what's going on in town and in the hotel, but a bit of...

This hotel has gone through some ups and downs with management and ownership changes, oh, and times have been tough for the industry. However, staying here this week, I've noticed the staff are really quite service minded and focused on the people who stay here. That's amazing! Keep it up or better yet, I hope the service keeps going up....

Booked a last minute stay on Hotwire and got Chateau Lacombe. Upon check in we were upgraded to the Concierge room. The room and view were great. Nice, modern decor with huge windows. We took advantage of the cocktail hour that is available to the Concierge level and also enjoyed a drink and dessert in the La Ronde Restaurant. Overall...
