I had to see a few clients I needed to see over a couple of days that were located in downtown Edmonton. Anyone who has driven downtown to Edmonton knows parking can be a challenge. As a result I decided this time to choose a hotel that was downtown, had parking available, and was within blocks of my clients so...

This is a very nice hotel.Very clean and the rooms are very nicely decorated .I did find the staff lacking in knowledge of the city and surrounding amenities .The beds were comfortable and abundant pillows .

Horrible stay at this hotel. First we arrive at hotel they give us our room keys, we go to the 18th floor, & our key won't work so back to front desk, the lady gives us a new set of keys, so back to 18th floor & still we can't get in our room. So back to front desk. They...

Dear deanna777, Thank you for sharing your feedback on your most recent stay. Upon investigation, it appears that your hotel booking was made via Booking.com. This 3rd party website lists rooms only and no packages. I wonder, if the reservation was inadvertently made on booking.com, rather then on the hotel website which lists our Romance package. I am so disappointed...

we had asked for an early check-in because of an event that we were attending at the hotel. we had been told that might not happen but we weren't told why. Garth Brooks was the reason. The hotel was packed. We had to line up to check-in even though they had 5 people working the front desk. But to their...

I have been here before and tried it again. I now remember why I switched in the past. There is no cooling in the rooms. Manager says oh, I will send maintenance up too have a look, maintenance guy says there is nothing they can do and the whole hotel is like this. They don't turn on AC capability until...

My fiancé booked a Concierge Floor Room for a nice getaway, he upgraded to the Romance package after booking. When we checked in, the upgrade to the Romance package had not been transferred through. The front desk offered to put it through but it would be $40 more than originally quoted due to "high occupancy". We decided to just get...

I absolutely love this hotel. I stay here every time I come to Edmonton on business. It's in a great location downtown, convenient for shopping, coffee shops, restaurants etc. But, one of the main reasons I stay here is because I love La Ronda restaurant on the 24th floor and never have to leave! The views are incredibly! The workout...

When I got to my room, I noticed that the windows were old, and that the room was a bit cold. After contacting the front desk, I was given an upgrade room on the consierge level. I want to thank Candice for making sure that I was well cared for. This is what the hospitality industry is all about!

We enjoyed our Caledonian ball at this hotel for the first time this past February. The ballroom was beautiful with the chandeliers and wooden floor for dancing. The staff could not have been more helpful. Our hotel room had a beautiful view of the river valley. Make sure you ask for that when booking. The hospitality suite was gorgeous and...

The Chateau Lacombe Hotel is a bit of a landmark in Edmonton. A fantastic mid 60s round tower, it is built right into the steep river bank of the North Saskatchewan River giving beautiful views across the expansive river valley from many rooms. At the top of the hotel is La Ronde, a revolving restaurant, a really awesome experience you...
