The room wasn't massive but the 2 big queens were extremely comfortable with lovely fresh linens. Shower was nice and powerful and the towels new and fluffy. Very helpful staff (I left a really sentimental bracelet in my room and they found it and are sending it back. V pleased)

I work in the hotel industry so know the quirks and stresses of managing a hotel but this one leaves a lot to be desired. We booked this hotel online through Expedia. Upon arrival was impressed with the look of the hotel, friendly concierge in the lobby. That impression quickly faded when dealing with rude front desk staff. That sets...

Thank you for your email with your feedback. Our sincere apologies for the challenges that occurred during your recent stay. The hotel was opened in 1967 and the developers did not foresee the influx and growth of trucks although they did have the foresight to build 600 plus stalls. Please note that we do have an additional parking lot adjacent...

We first stayed here on our honeymoon 30 years ago and this visit was just as memorable. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Room service was on time and the food very hot. Friendly front desk staff checking us in and out. We will stay here again!

We came here back in 2013 and were deeply disappointed in the outdated rooms. At that time management wrote us to say they were upgrading and asked we return. So 2 years later we decided to try it out again. And I must say, what an improvement! We got the concierge king room. With it came the surprise of free...

Picked this hotel for its location as I was staying for business. Found my room to be a little dated but comfortable. I only had room service food - it was mediocre. Wifi was fast and my room had a great view of the river. The front desk staff were clueless and slow, but friendly enough.

Stayed on the top floor for a special night out. The room was gorgeous but had two fans running when we got there. That should have been our clue. Even with windows open and fans going we roasted all night long. Couldn't get the heat down. My husband surprised me with the romance package. Dinner was lovely, would return if...

Booked online and got a great deal. The hotel is very central to the heart of the city. No problem with access nor parking. The hotel is prestigious, awesome lobby, most spectacular restaurant on the top floor- but the room with two double beds, not queens, needs a bit of an update. Very good value for money, but you need...

The hotel was clean, rather unfriendly lady at check in though AND the worst, I asked for parking she let me know that it is underground. Downstairs is a sign for hotel guest you have to register your vehicle which I did (i worked in this industry long enough). In the morning surprise surprise, under my door slipped into my...

My husband and I stay here a few times every year as it is quite convenient and affordable for a downtown hotel. This last visit, we spent about $15.00 extra and upgraded to the concierge floor. Our package included evening wine and cheese, continental breakfast and parking. We were too late for the wine and cheese but the breakfast was...

I stayed recently at the Chateau Lacombe on one of their "consierge" floors. When staying at the Chateau Lacombe choosing a room on a consiege floor is the way to go. The room was recently upgraded with new paint, carpet, new shower and entirely redone bathroom. The towels, toileteries and robe are all first class. There is a refrigerator, large...
