We have travelled to Edmonton many times in the last few years for family reasons. We were looking for a hotel close to the Royal Alex Hospital and the Chateau Louis fit the bill perfectly. It was a short 5-6 minute drive to the hospital. The hotel included parking at the back of the building with a door to access...

Was just at Sunday brunch celebrating a family member's milestone birthday. About 25 of us, Service was good. Food was good. Nice selection. And if you like meat you will be happy as there was beef, chicken, breaded cod, salmon, seafood. Desserts yummy as well. Perfect for a family gathering. --Karallee

The Chateau is centrally located, well maintained, has all the amenities the guest might want, prices are competitive, quite reasonable. The rooms are of a good size, attention to detail, like usb charging ports build into the lamp, and thermostats that work. Parking convenient for guests and visitors. Very courteous staff, layout of building good. Would happily stat there agin.

our last visit was a terrible mistake. This company spent millions to refurbish, but the chefs, must have paid the price. Food is generic, rooms still outdated. This used to be a high end place, steak Dianne, with brandy, was to die for,,,,,, now,,,cafeteria food

Stayed here for a business trip in June. Felt like I stepped into the movie the Shinning. Dated decor in the hallways and lobby and dinning room. Stayed on the second floor, some of the rooms had been renovated more than others. My co-workers had rooms that actually looked modern. My room was decorated in burgundy and gold crushed velour....

We have stayed here many times usually ok but no longer. The only reason I gave it 2 points is the included breakfast that is good. The bed was rock hard and old. Nothing comfortable in the room. The final straw is the bathroom - MOLD on the very old tub ledge, more MOLD on the very old tile floor,...

My wife and I had to leave our condo for about 3 weeks while it was being repaired. I found the Chateau Louis here on Trip Adviser, and it met all of the criteria that we were looking for. Booking our stay was surprisingly easy. I booked it one day in advance, and left our end date fairly open. Staying...
