For a hotel of this type, there were surprising amenities. I was greeted with a gift bag containing water, a disposable glass and a pocket size package of tissues. In the room, I found a luxurious bathrobe for my use while I stayed and two sets of earplugs in case I was bothered by nearby construction noise (I was not). The room was clean. The staff was friendly.

We chose this hotel from a list of options provided from Ronald McDonald House as we needed to travel to Edmonton for the birth of our daughter. As such knowing we'd be there more than a while we wanted a place that allowed us to function as we did at home. Campus Towers did just that.

We had the double room suite with full sized kitchen. Bedrooms are good size. Kitchen had several cupboards, stove top, microwave, bar fridge, toaster and came with plenty of plates and cutlery and post and pans. I'd say the one thing we wish we had was a spatula.

Upon arrival place was very clean. Staff were always helpful and pleasant. And other visitors always respected the covid rules. Staff don't clean the place while you stay there during covid but other than sheets, towels, toilet paper etc we didn't need much.

The only con and likely was just the room we had was the water pressure was very strong. And not a huge deal, but the toilet is on the small size.

Would we stay there again, yes. If we needed a place to stay a long time. Absolutely.

And here's the thing. We left an iPad somewhere in the room and didn't realize until after. Normally when that happens you think you'll never see it, but the staff found it and mailed it to us. To me thats huge. Tells me their staff truly care about their visitors.

My husband had a treatment at the University hospital that was early in the morning and they required him to remain in the greater Edmonton area the night after the treatment. This fabulous hotel is right across the street from the hospital. It has and living/dining room, kitchen with small fridge, counter top stove, microwave, pots, pans and dishes. A beautiful bathroom and separate bedroom with a queen size bed. Which was extremely comfortable. They provided a wheelchair when I requested one to bring my husband back from the hospital. I was able to walk to a nearby market and buy fresh food to prepare in the room. We were able to relax and watch TV on the sofa. He was able to rest in the bedroom without being disturbed. Awesome place.

We didn't stay at Campus Towers! We arrived to be told they were full and would not be honoring third party bookings. They transferred us to their better hotel downtown, allowed us to keep our car free with them and paid for two taxi trips back and forth to solved the location problem. We only booked there because it is close to where we needed to be. I think we are through with third party bookings.

I was here for 3 week for work. My stay was just mediocre. While the rooms were large and spacious, that was one of just a couple things in the Pro column. There were too many in the Con column to not address.

The plumbing is so old that each room is connected and shared amongst multiple rooms. Showers were not pleasant when others were running water in their rooms down the hallway. Even after they changed out the shower heads and claimed that this would help, problems still persisted.

Another was the thin walls. there is minimal insulation between the walls. I could hear my neighbor talking on the phone CONSTANTLY as if he were in the same room as I.

Also, the outlet in the bathroom needs to be separated from the light switch. I had to waste electricity keeping the lights on to charge my electric toothbrush. This seems like an oversight.

Elevators are extremely slow. Two elevators for the building, yet still I waited upwards of 10 mins for an elevator to get to me. It’s only an 11 story building.

One more thing, and this is a minor little thing that would make for a more pleasant stay. The front desk staff would never look up and recognize when people come back or leave. Not one time in the 3 weeks, did I have any front desk staff engage first (let alone look up) when I walked by. It's like they were TRYING to not welcome someone back or wish them a good day. Marriott and Hilton both will actively welcome someone home or to have a pleasant day. It's something small the front desk staff can do that will make staying at the hotel that much more enjoyable. If you can stay elsewhere, do.

I will note that I travel for a living 365 days a year. I live out of hotels and VRBO/AirBNB’s. I tend to forgive many things in hotels, but as I said in the beginning, there were too many little things adding up to not write this.

hotel close to University of Alberta hospital, staff friendly (behind masks), promptly responded to requests for supplies, linen and garbage pick up. Lots of places to explore on University campus. Felt like a safe area, few solicitations for money. Better if beds had fitted bottom sheets instead undersized top sheets used as bottom sheets. Stayed over 3 weeks. Would have appreciated room cleaning at least once during stay. Hotel had a vacumn cleaner which used several times.

Was a nice place to stay a bit expensive but worth it for the convenience/. Close to walk and it included the parking. The restaurants were close and offered enough selections. A nice touch were the white noise / soothing sound devices in each bed room.

My family recently booked a stay at Campus Tower Suite Hotel and were disappointed by the service that they received. When the reservation was made over the phone, we clearly communicated that we had 4 guests who were staying in the premium two bedroom suite with a kitchenette. However, the email confirmation we received was incorrect and only stated we had 2 guests. Upon check in, they were forced to pay an extra $200 due to the extra guests. Because they had seniors with them who were tired after travelling a long trip, they decided to just pay so they can get some rest. I just wanted to know if there was some miscommunication between the 2 parties and why they were charged extra money when they arrived. I also attached the email confirmation for your convenience! Thanks!

Stayed for multiple nights while our daughter was in surgery during the covid pandemic. One parent could stay close at the hotel while one parent was with her. I enjoyed the room while I was there, liked how the bed actually was in a room of its own with a TV and there was a TV in the sitting area. Enjoyed the small kitchenette although the fridge froze my salad. Very clean, and extremely Covid compliant. Was quiet during the stay. Booking on the site was user friendly, I would not hesitate to return.
