Me and my wife enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean. Easy check in and check out. They have a pool. We got free breakfast. Wifi was nice and fast. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
Booked directly with the hotel over the phone and explained I needed a pet friendly room. Confirmed over the phone twice as my small dog and I were temporarily displaced from our home due to a sewer line issue. She confirmed it was pet friendly and booked me in, sending my reservation confirmation for June 7-13th, to my email. When I checked in, I was only then told they’d be taking $100 extra for deposit, even though the lady on the phone assured me they’d only charge my room fees, the credit card was just to have “just incase”. I get to my room to find the wall where the hairdryer is mounted in the bathroom is cracked, like someone pushed it through the drywall. I go to have a shower after a long stressful day to find hairs in the bathtub. At this point I’m too exhausted to complain and just rinse the tub and shower. I had requested a room with fridge and microwave incase I needed to have meals and keep groceries in the room. The fridge wasn’t cold. Luckily I had picked up take out on the way to the hotel and not grocery items needing kept cool. Part of the stay I was only at the hotel to use the shower while I dealt with the situation at home and went to work during the day. I dropped my dog off elsewhere while I was out. I arrived back late Friday night with fresh clothes etc for the weekend, to find my cards deactivated. When I went to the front desk to get the issue resolved, carrying all my bags and my dog on leash, she confirms I’m booked until Monday, and then asks if the dog with me was staying too. When I answered yes, she tells me they have to charge me an additional $15/night non-refundable pet fee, over and above what I’ve already been invoiced, even though I had confirmed pet friendly both over the phone to book, and at check in. Angry but exhausted, as it’s already 10:30pm by this point, I take my key cards and head to my room to shower, only to discover all my personal toiletries are gone. I leave my bags and dog in the room to go back down to the front desk to ask why my things are missing. The lady asks if I had checked out but extended my stay - nope. My reservation was clearly the 7-13th. She goes to housekeeping, leaving me at the front desk, and returns with my things in a garbage bag, minus my freshly opened soaps, shoves the bag in my hand and says, “when the room is completely empty they just assume you checked out and forgot these things”, and walks away. So now I have no soap for my shower except the terrible hotel soaps that’s dry your skin. This has been the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had with a hotel/motel in my life. The hotel itself is not in very good shape. The same spills have been in the elevator since I checked in 4 days ago. The staff is rude and apparently clueless to who is coming and going. And the pillows are lumpy. I’ll never stay in another Travelodge again.…
Older hotel but renows were getting done. With that said it did not effect our stay. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, decent pool with slide. Great for dog owners as they have a dedicated dog area complete with a mini obstacle course. Best value for family's on a budget and the location was great.
The stay was and wonderful, good.customer service is awesome. Breakfast was good, kids had a great time at the pool and water slide . Decent price Close to west Edmonton mall and Costco. We will be Back next time
We checked in but checked out after seeing the room. End up looking for another hotel to stay. You should do a total renovations or better yet demolish the building and make a new one. Your hotel really sucks!! From front desk to the elevator to the room and the whole entire 30 mins while inside the hotel was a disaster. Will never book to this hotel again! Believe me guys this is not a fake review. This hotel is a joke!
No T.V remote just have to navigate channels manually, leaked sink wny there's a bucket underneath the sink and loose faucet might need a new gasket,So far everything was great and will come back next time.
The waterslide was fun and I loved the bed too! It was very comfy and also the free breakfast was great and the workers are kind and helpful! I only feel they need to make sure all rooms are checked for maintenance issues before having people stay in them. That would help their rating. I just had a few issues with some maintenance in the room! But it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle so it was ok.
We had a reservation set for yesterday for a week. We showed up yesterday with our kids and luggage in tow, when a lovely security person and manager informed us that this was no longer a hotel. It has been turned into a homeless shelter. It has been a homeless shelter since December 2020. I talked to someone at Travelodge Reservations two weeks before our trip to confirm that everything was still a go, and they did not mention that the hotel was not active. I asked about the pool--they confirmed that it was open. That was it. I have talked to several customer service people for the company and nobody has any knowledge about what is going on with this hotel. My husband called the hotel reservation line again pretending to want to reserve a room for today AND THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE HIM A RESERVATION. FOR A HOTEL THAT DOES NOT EXIST. So many "apologies for the inconvenience" but nobody has taken any real action and taken the hotel down from taking reservations. Please save yourself and do not book this hotel ever again.…
They’ve decided they’ll make more money taking a government grant than serving the community this summer. This hotel went ahead and cancelled all reservations until October. We only found out our reservation was cancelled when we had called the hotel with an unrelated question. They told us without apology that we should have been contacted but we weren’t. Had we not called about our question we would have never found out and shown up expecting our reservation. Further more we booked through Expedia and it won’t let us cancel our reservation online even though they cancelled it on their end. Now we have to wait for hours on hold to prevent being charged. Unimpressed. The restrictions have been lifted and there is no reason for them to cancel everyone’s reservations except laziness and money. …
Definitely will stay again if I'm ever back in edmonton. Located near the mall and lots of food locations. Lots of parking. Very quiet, clean & comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our extended stay, especially Arva at the front desk.
