This hotel have been very accommodating to my partner and I... we usually get the same room we like it, we know it, and they make it happen for us. Very nice staff and the breakfast had always been great. Clean rooms as well... just a great hotel for price range!
This is a really good mid range option. We just had a five night stop here, the hotel is well located in the centre. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are good an£ comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has hot and cold options and is plentiful and well laid out. We are returning for another seven nights in a couple of weeks and look forward to it
I live in Spruce Grove but work in Fort McMurray & usually stay in camp. I didn’t have a camp room booked so I came to BCM Inns. What outstanding staff through my entire stay. I’ll book here again for sure!
For what you pay for a room here you get more than your money's worth, compared to the other places around. Heads up, their "queen" size beds are really "doubles". Their breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, there was a pancake making machine (fresh to order), variety of juice, cereals and pastries. Room was very clean, TV is a new LCD, lots of channels, decent wifi. You need to ask for a hair dryer at the front desk if you need one. You get two bottles of water at check in, didn't ask on my second night if I could have another, so not sure if they give you more. Plenty of parking space.
Room 308. Pretty good for a motel. I liked the HDTV and the breakfast (I even saw Ruby Red Cocktail and Cheez Whiz!) I would definitely return here. It was a good subsitute (can't spell it) to expensiver hotels such as the Radisson.
Always a clean room, with lots of hot water, microwave, and small fridge. Laundry on main floor. Continental breakfast. Lots of parking. Good Security. Close to bus stop and, Save on food is across the street.
Very near the hospital. I needed medical attention so BCMI is the best option. The room is big, and clean. They supply bottles of water upon check-in. The breakfast is very good as well. Sammy, Grace & Joy, thank you ladies for making my stay comfortable.
This little Inn was easy to book online. When we arrived for check in, the staff were very efficient and professional. The room was clean, quiet, and private. There was a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. There was access to dishes, and cutlery as well! The checkout was completed overnight so checking out in the morning was very efficient. The continental breakfast was available as well.
For overnight business stays, we try to keep the hotel/motel as cheap as possible, while still having comfort, cleanliness and an overall good stay. After checking out pricing and reviews, we spent one night in the BCMInn in Fort Mac this week. Check in was OK - front desk staff was a touch 'distant' but smooth check in regardless. We were on the 3rd floor of a 3 floor walkup - no elevator so if stairs are an issue for you keep that in mind when booking. As per the reviews I read, the main hallways were dirty - clumps of mud and large stains in the carpet but this IS oil country, right?? The room itself was clean enough unless you looked at the windowsills - they were filthy !! and I'm not sure if it was a lot of wet, black dirt or black mould. If it is just dirt then someone from the staff should take 20 minutes per room and clean it. If it's mould it needs to be dealt with. So - back to the room - like I said - clean enough and very spacious and the room we had, had a small kitchenette with a sink, dishes/cutlery, microwave and fridge and of course, a coffee maker. Two comp waters in the fridge which is nice. The bathroom was clean and large. The bathroom water glasses are actual glass which I'm not a fan of especially when you see the housekeeping cart in the morning and it doesn't have clean glasses anywhere on it which leads me to believe the cleaning staff 'wash' the glasses in room - this freaks me out a bit because I'm sure most of us have seen the shows where hidden cameras show the staff using dirty rags to clean up the glasses (not saying they do that here but it is in the back of my mind) - I got a disposable coffee cup from the breakfast area which solved that problem. So - good bed and OK pillows - didn't spend the night awake wishing I'd brought my own pillow - and relatively quiet considering our room faced the front and the parking lot. Wifi and TV worked good. Breakfast included is basic - coffee, tea, fruit, cereal and I think either a pancake or waffle machine, yogurt but no hot stuff like eggs or bacon/sausage. Breakfast area was clean. Will note that the central hallways were cleaned of the mud clumps the next morning but I'm sure that doesn't last long...... Gave it a 3/5 because it's a low budget, cheap motel but I would stay here again because of the price/value for the money. …
I stayed at the BCMInns for two nights because I needed to be close to the hospital. It is a very convenient location in downtown Fort McMurray. Incredibly close to the hospital, and also very close to many restaurants and stores (within walking distance). They also accept pets which was a huge help. The rooms are nice, nothing fancy, but clean. They offer a free hot breakfast every morning which is actually quite good. There was a bit of noise outside on the Saturday night but I imagine that is because we are downtown. The staff is also friendly.
