Detailed Reviews
I sure miss spending my summer working and living at the campground. It was amazing to have my dogs with me in the RV sites and not have to worry about anything. The management has done an excellent job keeping the campground looking amazing and cleaning up after everyone. I can't wait to go back again to see the awesome people I have met there. I will be back again for sure.

I stayed here a year. Old fashioned values and service. You can talk directly to the management if you have complaints and they will accommodate you. I was in a corner site and appreciated the room on the lot. As always you will get out of every experience what you put in or move along find something else.

Amazing place to stay! The park model cabin I stayed in was spacious, clean and quiet. George was phenomenal to deal with, and I can say that previous negative comments made about him are definitely false. He is a kind, respectful gentleman, and I look forward to dealing with him again for my stays in the future.

The manager is a creep 😳 Watch your children and women. He thinks he can touch people hes gross. They need new people to take over . So its safe . I'm afraid and need to know this story so this don't happen to anyone else.

We recently stayed in this RV park for a month while we worked in the area.
While we appreciate having an Rv park that had availability, we were disappointed to see that it has allowed SOOO many full time patrons that have made their appointed spaces a spot to hoard and build and expand edge to edge. Many spots were just spilling over with mess and shabby construction. Some spots held many more than the allotted two vehicle policy.
I would recommend that the owners enforce some permanent resident guidelines before this becomes a messy mobile home park.
It wouldn't be a park we camp in for pleasure.....only for work purposes unless it was cleaned up.

+1
We stayed in a cabin on 2 separate nights of a long trip to the Yukon. We stayed one night on the way up and one night on the way back.
The road leading to the campground is pretty rough and the speed limit is 80. There's a series of pretty bad potholes leading back to the main highway on the way back to Grande Prairie hwy 43. Beware. It's easier to avoid some of the ruts and bumps on this short road if you drive slower. I can't dock marks for this as it's not their responsibility, but it was one of the only downsides to getting there.
The campground itself is pretty massive with many RV's parked there and everything looks well kept. There is a playground which kept my kids busy.
The cabin we stayed in was a loft one and was $150/night. The website is a little confusing regarding pricing and they should update it.
On one night, the loft had 2 single pillowtop mattresses in the upstairs (Cabin #12), which is accessible via a ladder. In another cabin on the second stay, there was a queen sized bed up there (Cabin #19). Bedding was all provided, but we had to make the beds on our first night. On the second night, all beds were made.
There's a queen or double bed on the main floor. I didn't check, but I believe the couch is also a pull out bed. There's a full size fridge, stove, microwave, sink, floor model air conditioner, ceiling fan, flatscreen TV with satellite TV channels. It has a full 3-piece bathroom. There's pots/pans, and dishes/cutlery for 4. Soap and dish soap was also there. On the first stay, there was no shampoo/conditioner, but we always bring our own. There's a kitchen table with 4 chairs too. On the second stay, I noticed one leg on one chair was extremely loose. I tightened the bolts so my kids wouldn't get injured. Lights in cabin #12 worked good. Cabin #19 had a few burnt out bulbs, which made it darker. There is no light on the loft section and that's one thing I wish was changed. Maybe install lamps? They have natural gas BBQ's at the cabins, but both cabins we stayed at needed to be lit manually as the igniter wasn't working.
Why did we stay here? The hotels in Grande Prairie all seemed to be around the $150 mark for cheap hotels. Staying at this location, we could drive right up, cook our own food, not have to worry about carry luggages around, etc. It was peaceful for the most part, beds were comfortable and we got what we expected. Some people kept my wife up for part of the night on our second stay because they were outside drinking and just being generally loud. It was still an enjoyable, easily accessible stay. It might just be a little hard to locate the place with a GPS. I downloaded an offline map on my phone called Maps.Me and I punched in the GPS coordinates on their website and was able to find the place easily.

Such a great campsite!! Close to the city but a country feel. Paved road to the campsite! Lots of room and set up very well for long term workers! George, the Manager is an awesome guy! Highly recommend this campsite if you are needing a spot to park your RV, either short term or long term.
