Value
Reach new heights in guest comfort at Podollan Inn & Spa, Grande Prairie’s premier full-service boutique-style hotel. As an independently owned accommodation, we do things a little differently than our chain-style counterparts. Service here is a little more personal, a little more chic and a little more luxurious with each return visit. Our most recent enhancement to our collection is a trendy 65-room expansion showcasing a series of sleek, stylish bachelor rooms that feature plush King beds, contemporary furnishings and local artwork. Rounding out the guest experience are three impressive meeting rooms, the upscale Jax Grill & Lounge – home of the best steak in Grande Prairie – and The L Spa & Wellness Centre, named one of the top 25 spas in Canada. Then there are the complimentary luxuries like Wi-Fi, a hot breakfast buffet with an omelette station, a fitness room and secure, heated underground parking.

What a surprise and a delight. We were hesitant to book into this hotel because the price with breakfast was lower than most local hotels.

I found a great rate on-line and the hotel, without hesitation, met the rate. We decided in a king suite and we’re very pleased with the size and amenities.

Breakfast was a total shock. A $15 restaurant hot breakfast with a variety of choices plus great coffee were included in the room price. Perhaps this extra perk won’t continue but we were impressed.

Staff were great. Highly recommend!!!

I went in for wings and it was my first time ever at Jax. The servers, Jazz, Laila and Christina, were very helpful and friendly. They made sure we get the best experience and we sure did. They were all handling food safely and following social distancing not only to us, but to the other customers as well. I would recomment and I would come back!

This hotel has very comfortable beds compared to other hotels and The food at JAX was so delicious. Checkin was quick and I found NAV one of their staff member so helpful and he helped us with each and everything. The hotel was very clean and following all the covid protocols.
Would stay here again for sure!

I had my family (7) stay at this hotel. Our room door was not locking when it closed and we had left the two days we stayed all day not returning until midnight or so in the evening. when i addressed my concerns they assured me it would be fixed but.NOPE was not fixed. I tried to email the owner Harinder Singh and his replay to me only asking for a small discount for the inconveniences was "NOT MY PROBLEM" really that is so unprofessional and i will not be staying at this hotel again and will surely let everyone know that security is not important to this owner. my rate was more than i had booked with Hotels.com. Yes we had a pet fee added but still the numbers did not match and when i questioned Harinder he replied again with "NOT MY PROBLEM" and you really dont want to get me started on the food we were served through room service and the so called hot breakfast. Ill just say Instant eggs dried out and hard and over microwaved sausages and no knives to be had. I never post bad reviews but after the treatment i received I will surely let as many people as i can know that this Hotel is not a good place to stay despite the positive reviews. I do not know why i was treated so badly when i was pleasant right up till the owner had called and dismissed my concerns. And as for him saying i only addressed the issue once. well i was only there to sleep my friend returned at midnight so when i did you still did not fix the problem. So thanks a lot and no I will never stay there again.

Booked the Podollan suit for our 15th anniversary. They had our room decorated to our surprise witch was great. Pre ordered chocolate covered strawberries and wine and they can on time and where great. I can say I wont stay here again because the sound proofing is terrible. You can hear all the traffic that goes by and there's a lot and could hear the people walking above us. Also jax food was not close to worth it.

The room was quiet, although the view over the parking lot let in lots of light throughout the night, despite the blinds being closed.

King bed and pillows were fabulous, the desk was great for getting work done. Room and bathroom appeared very clean.

We stayed at this hotel last year and decided to do so again this year. (Although unfortunately this year's room wasn't nearly as nice and overlooked a roofline.) Beds are very comfortable. (Rooms could use some updating and have USB chargers and more plug ins. I had to unplug a lamp to charge my computer.) The free breakfast was excellent!

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to, the rooms are disgusting there’s mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom. There’s water damage everywhere the prices for the restaurant are outrageous as the food isn’t that good. The only good thing about the place is the staff. As I travel a lot and stay in many hotels this one ranks up there as the worst bang for your buck do not stay here if you value your time and money.

It had nice beds with lots of pillows. We had 2 queen beds, but the small table that usually is between the beds was on opposite sides of each bed. Not well set up. Air conditioning blows on top of you from the ceiling all night. Has a skimpy served breakfast in their cafe, that goes with the room price. Plug-in was at the bottom of the headboard. Very hard to plug anything in. No freezer compartment in the fridge. When we travel we carry a thermal bag with freezer packs that need to be frozen.

Standards have dropped, concierge did not help with spa bookings, mold in the shower, TV kept cutting out....called front desk to I form them, they just kept saying it was being "reset'. 4 very small pillows on a king sized bed. Just not what you expect for paying $167 a night.
